Exceptional host and service all round. Extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The caravan was spotless and the lovely personal touches were great too. The beds were really comfortable and the site the caravan was on was lovely and quiet. By far the best host I have experienced and there have been many over recent years. Thank you Su!

If we were staying longer next time, we would remember to bring serving dishes as we prefer to eat in. But that's a personal preference as most people would probably eat out.

The caravan was spotlessly clean and tidy. Su was very welcoming, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect for visiting aviation based activities.. I would recommend Alifies House and definitely come back here again.

Beautiful caravan. Very warm welcome from our host Su who was readily available if we needed anything at all. We were away every day and it was a lovely nest to come back to in the evenings. Very clean. Highly recommended!!

There was nothing at all to dislike.

From the wonderful greeting from Su up to the moment we left we loved our stay. Alfie's House was spotlessly clean, well equipped, great shower and super comfy bed. It was a really good location, local to shops and pubs, lovely walks. We honestly couldn't fault the place or the host. Thank you Sue, we'll see you again soon.

Only things if we had to be ridiculously nit-picky were the flat batteries in the X-box controllers (which we soon replaced to pacify little people)... It was a bonus we didn't expect to be honest, because there's nothing else we'd fault.

Such thoughtfulness and attention to detail... Hot water bottles left, fresh, fluffy towels and fresh milk, as well as cereal for the kids! It was spotless, cosy, comfortable and we can't wait to return again! Loved the location, even though the weather was poor... We'll definitely return in the better weather for some riverbank walks and birdspotting! We saw 2 barn owls, pink footed geese, a Crane, cormorants and others just driving two and fro!

No negatives, it was a lovely place to rest our heads after a few days of activities and sightseeing.

Prior to arrival I received details via text on how to locate the property. When we arrived we met Su the owner who is lovely and very welcoming. Kids were overjoyed at there being ice poles in the freezer and my Husband also that Su had provided Milk for a much needed cuppa! Alfie’s House is clean, tidy, comfortable and has all the essentials for a home from home stay. Great location for getting to different places and the site is quiet but still has the facilities that you would want/need.

Everything!! Caravan was lovely, very clean & fully equipped with everything required for a wonderful family break (including safety pins ;-) . Maybe I just didn't like the fact that there's no shop nearby. I would of liked it better if there was a little town you can just walk to and from the site.

I love the place. It's very clean and just right for what we need.

Facilities on site let this place down, they are never open. Got there and reception was shut, had to wait 30 minutes after check in time to see someone. It says bar and restaurant on site, it was open once, had no beer, only serve frozen pizza or chicken nuggets but wasn't cooking that night. Swimming Pool was also shut. Feel sorry for Su and her lovely caravan being on this site, spoke to 5 different couples stopping on site that said they wouldn't be back because of facilities.

Caravan was lovely, couldn't ask for anything more. If you want peace and quiet with nice walks this is the place

The owner of the site( not the accommodation) was a little stand offish at the start, but seemed OK after.

The van was really clean and cosy. The stay was lovely.
