Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI thought the dog supplement a bit expensive for a well behaved dog and no accidents (£25 for one night on a £74 room). EV chargers in car park weren't working - we chose the hotel partly because of the proximity to EV charging points. Also something to note. As is quite common now, I have essential medicine which needs to be kept in the fridge between 2-8 degrees and requires ice packs which need to be kept in the freezer. Most hotels have a guest fridge or allow you to use their main fridge/ freezer which I was told wasn't possible. The rooms had a have fridge which would have been ideal if it was colder. However, it was really just a wine fridge which is not cold enough for most medicine (my thermomenter said about 12 degrees.) This makes it difficult for guests who travel with medicine like me (eg diabetics.) It was Ok for one night because my ice packs kept it cool enough but I could not stay here for more than one night. This is a shame as we really liked the hotel and would have liked to return for longer.
lovely hotel, friendly staff, comfortable. Liked the fact that it was a vinyl floor - good for dogs Car park adjacent (though you pay extra)

United KingdomBreakfast was just average. Self service and eggs had gone cold. Didn’t find beds comfortable. No support in pillows, felt like they were empty of filling and mattress topper too soft for me so poor nights sleep.
Good location for us as going to Lowry Theatre… 20 minute walk via quayside. Receptionist Carolina was really lovely, so friendly and helpful which makes all the difference. Parking was easy and plenty of spaces as we arrived 2.30 pm. Bonus 10% off food and drinks.

United KingdomThe breakfast is very bog standard and there wasn’t much left when we came down at around 9:30 (it finished at 11). I don’t know if they were in the middle of making and bringing more out but in the time we had a drink and ate, it didn’t seem to be replenished.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had a clean room and the bed was very comfortable. It is a stunning property and the view from our room was lovely.

United KingdomWe had informed the hotel that one guest was gluten free (coeliac). However they were unable to provide bacon and sausages for breakfast which was extremely disappointing. Bacon should be naturally gluten free and gluten free sausages are readily available. So breakfast consisted of scrambled egg, baked beans, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes plus toast. 😢

United KingdomThe hotel was too noisy. We paid for parking the first night for 3 nights, with no guarantees that there will be parking there. Low and behold second night there was no parking, I got told to park my car somewhere else for 7.50 and get a refund the next day on my parking but why should I be doing that? You charged me for parking, so guarantee me a spot? On the third night same issue again no parking, so I got told to park elsewhere in the lot, which I did. Next day I had a letter from the management saying I may get a ticket if I don't move my car. What an absolute joke. I even asked the guy working the night shift about getting tickets. The girl i spoke to on the reception assured me that I wouldn't get a ticket. But if I did to call them. DONT TAKE PARKING PAYMENTS IF U CANT GUARANTEE A SPOT. I am a huge fan of Marriott but this wasn't the best, the bed heads were torn and had oily fingerprints on them, the iron burnt two of our clothes as it wasn't working properly. Would not stay here again.
It was close to everything, 15mins was the furthest I traveled to get to where I wanted.

SingaporeThe bed can be shaky if a kid jumps on it. Need to use own toothbrush as there wasn't as disposable toothbrush etc. Bath tub was narrow so standing in there to shower can be a challenge for the bigger size ones
The staff are friendly, has bottled water ready if we require and refillable water on level 1. Comfortable stay and near to two stations which is Exchange Quay and Salford Quay. We went for Manchester match so the walk to the stadium is only 15mins...
