The towel ring in the bathroom is rusty , didn't like to put. white towel o n it. Had trouble switching off the water in the bath. perhaps some online instruction about the controls would be useful parking at the station for 3 days was expensive

Tea and coffee were the only food items provided for breakfast. the flat was modern and light. Generally liked it very much for our short stay

This is a lovely, very cosy, feels like home from home apartment. Very well equipped, comfortable, nice decoration , great views from high up and a perfect location for St Albans/train to London - hosts could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Would have liked instructions about using the oven, which was complicated. The radiators were not fully working, and though the owners (a company in Birmingham) tried to be helpful, this was never fixed. There were two wine glasses, one champagne glass and no water glasses in an apartment meant for 4.

Quiet ground floor apartment, which I needed after a hip replacement. The apartment block is right by the mainline railway, we were the opposite side which was quiet, but I would hate to stay the railway side. Well equipped.

Could do with a bit of vacuuming. External keypad (to enter the building) is very slow and unresponsive, we had trouble getting into the building a few times.

Good location, short walk to the station or St Albans city centre. Friendly and helpful host.

The hot water wasn’t sufficient and had to boost for 2 people to have a shower. The apartment could do with some TLC E.g paint work, sofa in sitting room was stained, stains on carpet and some marks on furniture, bathroom fixtures discoloured or rusted, which we felt we had to photograph to prove this wasn’t our damage during our stay should it be required. Netflix stated as being available which wasn’t although not a big issue as we weren’t in often.

The location was very good and central to the train station and city centre. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Lots of building work going on around, so woke up early every morning. Parking a bit hit and miss. A very small apartment, it;s got everything you need, but it is compact.

Warmer/ thicker duvet would be good. Hot water a slight issue - you have to press a button 20/30 mins before you need it but wasn’t a problem - you just need to remember to do it.

Great location, well equipped and a good little place to stay. The host responds to any queries very quickly. Easy to get in with key in lock box and good instructions given in advance. Deposit returned very quickly.

Building works opposite are a pain - especially as workmen arrive v early and make a lot of noise even before proper work starts. Flat would benefit from replacing a few things which haven't worn well eg internal door handles and taps as they detract from all that is really nice about the place.

From my side, there is a multi-storey building in the window, it would be desirable to close the window with blinds.

Lovely cozy place with perfect soundproofing and high speed internet. Felt at home. I will definitely return. Very comfortable bed.

We had no hot water during our stay, we located the water heater and used the controls and the boost button but no hot water ever came on the water was freezing cold. No help was provided via the text, e-mail or phone to their customer care and they have not responses to my complaints after promising to address them. All round very disappointing and a real lack of interest in resolving. Hot water is a standard basic requirement for any stay and they failed to take this on board or even address my complaint. How you treat and handle customer issues is extremely important.
