Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe driveway to Abbots Grange is impressive and gives a positive impression of how this would have been in the past, both for its original purpose as well as a family home. The team were supremely welcoming and there is an intimacy in the Great Hall that's hard to beat. The room was fairly small but fully stocked and the family were certainly not cutting back on heating bills as we had to open the window, but then turned off the radiator and all was well. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Broadway and does feel more like a home than a hotel, which is something we enjoyed. Breakfast was, as promised, substantial but what else should you expect from a family that owns a bakery chain?

United States of AmericaI loved absolutely everything! We stayed in a room that had a clawfoot tub but no shower and the toilet is actually like a confessional! They offered to move us to another room with a larger bathroom but the room was so magical I didn’t care! They were SO GRACIOUS and allowed us to shower in one of their other rooms…I’m telling you this place is SPECIAL
Everything! This place is so magical we decided to stay another night! Our room was like staying in a church…the family who owns it raised their children there so there is a warm feeling and a feeling of being somewhere special. The owner is delightful and cares about the history of the bldg. Sitting by the fire at night is something I will never forget. The staff is wondrous and the breakfast was so yummy both mornings and made to order with exactly what you want. The town is super quaint with a really great stores and restaurants! We travel a lot and this place is a hidden gem! If you are lucky enough to get a room definitely go!!!!

United States of AmericaA lot of the charm is the age of the place. This also gives you smaller older beds, etc.
Such an amazing place! The history here is just amazing. So glad we were able to visit.

United KingdomThe bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The glass of bubbles on arrival was a nice touch. The hotel is very close to the green in Broadway but tucked down a short driveway and away from any noise as it is a popular area.

United States of AmericaThe only possible complaint I’d have is the fact that our bathroom lights came on automatically when we entered. This was a little jarring in the middle of the night when I’d have preferred to not have every light on. (There were 3 that all turned on).
The facilities are beautiful! We loved staying here and enjoyed every moment. The Christmas decorations added to the magical setting. The breakfast was so delicious as well.

IrelandThe bathroom was not an ensuite in the room we were staying in and there was no real shower facility, so for the price it would have been nice to be notified.

United States of AmericaIt'd really be nitpicking with a historical building, but the bathroom was a bit drab and dated. Nothing wrong with it. Just not as stunning as the rest of the facilities.
An unbelievable place to stay! The Grange is an extraordinary, historic structure with so many beautiful spots to lounge. Staff were friendly and eager to help with all travel planning. Many thoughtful touches, like the self-serve bar area. Prime location for accessing Broadway.

United KingdomThe Coach House was sumptous - large, airy and luxuriously appointed. Breakfast in the Great Hall was fabulous too. We loved evenings outside by the firepit and inside by the fire, and reading the history of the building and its creative past was fascinating.
