Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA bit more care and attention in the bathroom would make this a five-star property! Hopefully, it will be dealt with swiftly and wishing the usual cleaner attendant to get well soon!
Lovely and spacious property, very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Cosy and comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchenware, comfortable sofa in the lounge and good family table! Wollaton Park is stone throw from there, wonderful green space! I will not hesitate to come back here!

United KingdomOutdoor ‘garden’ space was a bit unloved and unkempt which was a shame as decent size and lots of potential. Useable tho It would have been a bonus to have wifi. We weren’t expecting it so not a complaint but for future bookings wifi could tip the balance on choice

EgyptGreat value for a big house. We had plenty of space as a family group. Weather was hot, so a fan in each room was a great touch to make our stay more comfortable. The shady corner in the backyard was also perfect for evenings and breakfast. Street parking and easy public transport access to the center of Nottingham.

Location is great - it’s easy to get to Nottingham city on the bus and it’s not far from the university campus either. The host was also very friendly and took care of us in the heatwave by leaving us cold bottles of water.

United KingdomAlthough nothing really wrong with it, it felt a bit like a work in progress and the address was not the same as the one I booked, it was in the next street, but that was not a problem. I think the new place could have been an upgrade. The only smoke alarm is in the kitchen, not one on upstairs landing so that needs attention and co2 monitor is in the lounge which seemed a strange place. The TV does not have an aerial so the TV is only accessible via the internet. Could do with a pack of info that tells you where the nearest shop/take out/hospital is. As I said before nothing wrong, not top quality but good for the price I paid.
Location was good, equipment all brand new with labels still on. Clean, and tidy but bathroom and toilets have tired décor and could do with a revamp. The upstairs toilet has a magic flush either that or a ghost that flushes toilets. It sets itself off about 2 minutes after you come out of the room. The listing says no WiFi but there is WiFi but you have to hunt out the code for yourself. There is also a little garden. Towels and free toiletries laid out to make you feel welcome. Key in key safe so could check in and out at convenient time for us.

United KingdomThere were barely any kitchen utensils, the oven didn't work at all, meaning we had to eat out each day. Cobwebs in the windows, kitchen was dirty and bathroom was mouldy. House was very cold on arrival. Only 1 sofa that seats 3 people. There was 5 of us, meaning 2 people had to sit on dining room chairs in the evening when watching a movie, not very comfortable. When pulling the dining room table out to all sit at, one of the legs fell of the table so I had to fix that. No curtains in front room.
It was a good location, with parking in a quiet street.

United KingdomThe bathroom was spacious but the wall tiles and windows really needed cleaning. And the floor really does need work. I am particular about bathrooms, so it affected the stay. Also, bed linen and towels could really be better.
Sufficiently roomy. We are a family of five and all adults. So my adult kids did not feel cramped and everyone their personal space. Very clean kitchen and sufficient crockery et al.
