Being picky maybe some blackout curtains for the main bedroom as the light streams in early morning, but it didn't detract from the lovely stay

It would have been nice to have had use of the courtyard.. but being only a stones throw from the beach was lovely..

Well placed..quiet and very comfortable..big, light airy rooms.. Well equipped.. only had a short stay but everything available if we'd have been there for longer.. As we went at a quieter time we were very lucky with the parking, free, right across the road..it did get busy at the weekend as the weather was good so we didn't move the car in case we lost the space.. Bathrooms good (although a tad bijou in the one next to the main bedroom).. the showers were excellent, obviously good water pressure..👍

The big bedroom is massive, it would make a huge difference to put a kingsize bed in there. It says it's a 'large double' but it is a standard sized one.

It was a shame that just one or two surfaces needed a wipe and there were two broken slats on the double bed, which should have been spotted when the bed was being prepared. These did not detract at all from a perfect stay.

This is an outstanding property that isn't done justice by the photographs or description, it is huge!! Extremely well equipped and the location couldn't be bettered!

The kettle should have had a filter. We aren't used to hard water, so it was a shock to see the scum on our hot drinks, and I had to scrub the kettle inside to remove as much limescale as possible. We then used bottled water in the kettle. Why doesn't the kettle have a built-in water filter? They aren't very expensive and it would make such a difference. Also, a couple of the light switches didn't work, and I got an electric shock off 2 of the upstairs light switches!

We loved the decor, furnishings, and there was everything we needed. And the place had so much space - amazing. It was spotlessly clean too.

The showers were tricky to work out & the glass door didn’t go far enough to stop water spraying on the floor No soap in one bathroom at the hand basin . We couldn’t work the dvd player after countless attempts

Blinds in bedroom were not working and curtains very light so was awake early. Bed a little hard.

We were helped to use the key safe by a gentleman who was working in the garage. The paperwork we had to hand (the rest was in our car) showed the wrong key safe number. The correct number had been sent to us later but we were unaware that it had changed. There is a need for instructions to use the oven, very difficult for us to use. Also instructions needed for the new showers as we had to ask a member of staff to come and demonstrate.

The kitchen table was very sticky. After 2 days we bought a table cloth so the coasters didn't stick.

The location is excellent. The accommodation is very close to the beach, fish mongers, the Scallop, high street shops & the path to Thorpeness. Excellent for morning exercises & to watch the sunrise.

High chair was dirty and unusable, I didn't want to risk my daughter in it with all the old food. Lots of stairs! Dining table was so sticky. Blinds were tricky to use and some were damaged.

Location was super. Collection for keys was as described. The apartment was clean and had a homely feeling. The high chair we found in the cupboard to use for our 1year old was terribly dirty and had old food not cleaned from it so we decided not to use it at all. The rooms were well cleaned and bathrooms, towels fluffy and bedding smelt clean and comfortable. Facilities inside were fab, more TV's than I have inside my own house. Blinds were a little tricky to use but could be due to over use. Would be helpful if some basics were provided such as tea/coffee etc but location made that easy to resolve. Overall a fabulous stay and will certainly return.

The kettle was old, tired and in need of replacement.

Great location, very spacious, all modern kitchen with large fridge with integrated instant ice and cold water. Bathroom, super shower. Comfortable bed with feather and down quilt and pure cotton white bedding. Bose speaker and smart TV.

A number of previously reported maintainance issues had not been fixed/ resolved. Shower in spare room still faulty, however nice general maintenance man did resolve issue of not being able to turn water off in timely fashion. Bed slats not afixed to webing in main bedroom causing occasional collapse of mattress. Blind in kitchen cannot be used/closed for privacy.

Clean ,spacious ,comfortable,good location, despite maintenance issues would reconsider for future.

All the things previously identified by users eg beds falling apart, shower screen inadequate. In addition cutlery poor and knives not sharp.

We stayed for 4 nights at 4 Market Cross in Aldeburgh and though the place was pleasant we had a poor time owing to no hot water running from either of the showers, and the main bathroom's sink had a broken pipe which meant if it ran it would flood the bathroom so was unusable.  We contacted Air Manage Suffolk on Friday morning after noticing this and we were told a plumber would come to fix the same day. We left the keys in the lock awaiting the issue to be fixed, and it was not done throughout the entirety of our stay. A plumber instead turned up on Monday morning as we were checking out to fix the issue.  After talking to Airmanage Suffolk on our departure day we were told there there would be considerable recompense. However they have instead offered us £20 compensation which seems very poor indeed given we weren't able to shower for the entirety of our stay. Had we known these issues before booking we would have stayed elsewhere. Especially as some of these issues were known by the company before our stay. A poor situation that was managed poorly.
