Amazing immaculate and well equipped property

The cleaner had changed water settings.. meaning no hot water, but kind host dealt with promptly… very helpful and understanding.

The cleanliness and comfort.. and the good communication throughout stay. Everything that we needed and expected and more.

We understood the property had 3 bathrooms but it only had 2. It also had a downstairs toilet and wash basin but that is not a bathroom. We had 3 separate families staying for a funeral and we like our own bathroom. The tv would be better on another wall as we were frightened of knocking it when sat that side of the table. There wasn’t enough comfy seating for 9 people. The upstairs bathroom could do with a higher mount for the shower. Most people have a shower But it’s difficult to wash your hair when holding the shower. Baths would take to long for the amount of people who are using it. Bathroom privacy could be a problem as there was no lock on the door. The recycling wasn’t explained very well. There was supposed to be a food caddy in the kitchen but there wasn’t and a blue top bin outside for recycling there wasn’t.

It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of cutlery crockery and glasses. Games were provided always a good idea. The location was very central for us. We would recommend but as a two bathroom house.

Mattress topper made bed far too warm and some of the double beds too small for two people. Because one bathroom was an ensuite, the other three rooms had to share one bathroom.

Location ideal. Great that it had parking and ground floor very comfortable.

When we arrived there was 1 towel on each double bed. in total 4 towels. When I asked for more I was told as there was 4 people staying it was enough. They were not large bath towels just very thin and the next size up from a hand towel. I told the host we had 2 more people arriving the following day and she said we only booked for 4 and therefore there was an extra charge of £80. Quite steep for a couple of extra towels!! Which I had to pay direct to her by PayPal - as this was all for an event related to the death of my mother I just paid it and some towels did come. 1 more of the same size as the others and 4 or 5 hand towels. We are not overly large people but this seemed very mean. In actual fact my other guests brought their own towels anyway which was great. When I book a house I expect to have booked the whole house and not be charged extra in that way - 4 people could have sleep in 4 beds so it can't be the bedding. Although the host was pleasant I did not like the immediate demand for more money. The house was lovely and perfect location for the Celebration of my Mother's Life but it did feel a little tainted by this issue.

Th kitchen was very well stocked with equipment, crockery and cutlery plus the always needed dishwasher. There was also a herb and spice rack and other bits and bobs useful if you were planning to cook. It was a very sociable set up with open plan kitchen dining and seating area.

Crockery chipped. Untidy garden especially the table. Main bathroom shower difficult to use, needed a viable connection for the shower head.

Our bedroom had very light coloured curtains in the room means you are awake at sunrise. I am sure this is not a problem for most, but we are used to blackout blinds

Shower gel and shampoo were not supplied, also we couldn`t see spare bin bags for toilet in the en- suite bathroom and kitchen. If they supply them, that would be wonderful.

The house was very clean and tidy. We liked the instruction paper about the items and how to use the boiler. We also liked he items such as iron, iron boarding, family games, many different herbs were supplied.

There is nothing to fault during our 1 night stay. The location is a bit suburban and off the tourist track although that has many upsides. There are shopping facilities very close so no downside we experienced

This is a self catering house that can be not more than a few years old, very well appointed, reasonable garden, good size rooms, 4 double rooms with extra bed therefore will sleep 9 easily Very clean, pretty much all the cooking/eating stuff anyone would require although the addition of a cafetiere would have suited us (very personal preference) Medium walking distance to Littlehampton Mariner or very short car journey

All the cutlery and chinaware was dirty and needed to be cleaned before using. The beds were rather uncomfortable.
