Nothing really, totally enjoyed our stay. We did hear a bit of noise in the room next door but in fairness the young guy in there was quite loud!

What a very lovely stay. Our room was very comfy and well presented, clean, comfortable, a little bit of luxury. The shared lounge downstairs was full of character, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. And the hostess (Brenda?) could not have been more helpful and attentive, breakfast was of a high standard. Just a lovely place to stay in Rye.

Beautiful property in central location to all of the amenities in Rye and walkable (via scenic path) to the beach & dunes at Camber Sands. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and our host Brenda was so friendly and accommodating.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Tea House. Brenda prepares a beautiful breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, and all kinds of thoughtful details. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room spotless. We would definitely go back.

A very minor point is that we would have liked a rubbish basket in the bedroom.

We loved staying in a very old house dating back centuries with original wooden beams. The house has character, taste and comfort. We loved the décor of the bedroom. Brenda had added many small but much appreciated touches to make our stay enjoyable. The very large bed was extremely comfortable with just the right softness and luxurious linen. In the bathroom cabinet we found a treasure trove of toiletries. Brenda was welcoming and considerate. The location was excellent for exploring the town and finding restaurants.

Delightful host and beautiful, immaculately clean property. Very well situated in the town, and an easy short walk from the car park. We came home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

The top room could do with some storage wardrobe type space. No iron appeared to be available though we didn't ask to be fair!

Breakfast was great, very comfortable accommodation, attentive and helpful host, really nice extra little treats in the rooms, comfy bed! Would definitely return.

Everything was perfect !

We had the most wonderful time! The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Our room had everything we needed with lots of lovely thoughtful extras, and the bed was so huge and comfy! Breakfast was also delicious.

Really cannot find fault and I am only nitpicking at this point, but the lights in the room felt a bit “clinical” as they were very white white lights. The room would have been even more perfect with a softer, yellow light.

Location was on the main road in Rye, very close to all shops and restaurants. The hostess was very welcoming and provided a lovely continental breakfast with a wide selection to choose from. The room was very clean and comfortable and the shower was great.

Beautiful, historic cottage in a perfect location, with an extremely warm and welcoming host and a phenomenal breakfast. What more could you ask for ! Very comfy beds, large and tastefully fitted bathroom, a real joy to stay at.

Such a charming property right in the centre of Rye, perfect for a weekend away. Host was great and continental breakfast, with plenty of choice and fresh fruit, was a great start to the weekend.

We were very happy with our room and all aspects of service. There will be other places with more modern facilities, but it is an old house with lots of character, which more than makes up for this.

Well positioned in the heart of Rye, but still quiet, with very little road noise. A well proportioned room with a very comfortable bed and good facilities. The continental breakfast was perfect for us. Parking in the Market Car Park was close enough to be convenient and good value at £2 per 24 hours.
