Nothing whatsoever !! We slept like logs in the most comfortable beds and the peace and quiet was so lovely

Our little dog adored the large garden to run about in and we enjoyed the hot tub as we were blessed with lovely weather. We will return ! It’s completely home from home with everything you need. Our stay was amazing! The facilities and the cleanliness is second to non. Very comfortable beds, the hot tub is fantastic and little touches like the robes, slippers and hampers are a fantastic addition.

Lovely cottage, with probably best equipped kitchen we have had. No need to bring things with you. Also lots of nice extra touches like milk, hot chocolate, croissants and some bubbles. I don't think the pictures quite do it justice, rooms were bigger than the pictures made them look and it is a great social house. There is parking in front of the property and can probably fit two cars though it is a quiet village so parking on the road wouldn't be an issue. We were looking for a relaxing time away and this was a really nice place to chill and spend time in despite the weather, though it is right on the coast to coast path if you did want to walk.

The only small criticism would be the downstairs showeroom. The shower itself works fine however it wouldn’t stay in one position.

The building is beautiful with lots of little mementos of when it was a village post office. The kitchen and and lounge area is very modern and the small sitting room with the fire place is a lovely addition. The bedrooms were big and the beds very comfortable including the bunk beds.

Beautiful property, we loved our stay here. The presentation is immaculate and everything you need is thought of. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the garden. It was easy to travel to the local beach. Loved the hot tub!

The Old Post office is a lovely little retreat to spend some quality away with the family, offering a very nice interior, well planned out layout and little extras which were appreciated. Outside there is a fantastic hot tub, barbeque and enough seating area to spread out and relax, even with the kids.

The cottage had everything you could possibly need and more. The kitchen was amazing fully equipped! Children loved the hot tub , the cottage was very cosy, but had lots of room . The shower room was ideal for washing the dogs after muddy walks . Ravenglass was small but beautiful. We travelled a lot over the week to get to the lakes I would say that is the only negative. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us .

The pub at the end of the road doesn’t open mon -thur so the whole time we where there it was shut Wasn’t as near to a lake as we had expected to be Lots of the pubs and shops in town where closed too

Loved the location surrounding the property! The facilities themselves were exceptional. Everything in the property was well placed and thought out! From the Prosecco glasses to the little fans in the rooms! We fully enjoyed our stay and would come back again in a heartbeat

There was nothing not to like!

The welcome basket was lovely with everything needed, really appreciated it. The house was exceptionally clean and comfy and the facilities were excellent. Wet room was an added bonus after the beach! Really quiet location and only a very short drive to the shops and beach.

The place was amazing. We have a newborn baby and they left a basket with everything you could possible need incase you forgot. Very thoughtful welcome with cooking necessities and breakfast touches. The garden, fire,hot tub,bedrooms everything was immaculate and made our first family trip really memorable. We visited the local pub and the staff were so friendly. Could not recommend more, thank you 😊

The Post Office is quite deceptive in size. It was much bigger than I was expecting. Such a lovely home from home, full of everything you might need and has a fully equipped kitchen. The local pub serves excellent food, although you do need to book a table as it is quite small.

The property was beautiful. It was exceptionally clean and there were full amenities available. There were little added extras such as a continental breakfast laid out in a picnic basket upon arrival. The beds were super comfy and the open fire added to the extra cosy feel. William was really helpful prior to checking in and was quick to respond to all messages.
