Closeness to other caravans who kept us awake late at night and woke us in morning with tv blaring and window open. Disappointed the pub had closed down and no one said. Second bedroom mattresses can feel springs and had to put counter pane under sheet. Cosmetic repairs that do not need a lot of money would finish it off lovely.

Not the fault of the property owner but there’s currently a lot of landscaping work going on directly outside the lodge which meant we had very loud vehicles passing by at 0730 in the morning. Difficult to ignore. We were disappointed that the on site pub was closed, we hadn’t realised.

Very comfortable for 3 of us and had everything we needed, and more, good location. Lovely little greeting drink waiting for us which was a thoughtful touch, all cooking facilities available and plenty of tea and coffee so we needn’t have brought so much stuff with us! Sadly the on site swimming pool was not operational There was only one night of on site entertainment However was a little disappointing but nota major issue.

Lesley is incredible host, she's very quick to respond and communication was excellent. The place was very clean, cosy, well stock (coffee, tea, sugar milk) for free and had all the necessities for a few night stay, I would definitely come back and would highly recommend this place to others. Lastly thank you so much for the welcome note and drinks 🍸 We still enjoyed our stay and had memorable time despite of the bad weather.

It's a caravan....so it did get a bit hot inside but I think this is a hazard of booking a caravan holiday in June! There were two fans provided in the caravan which helped. The road outside the park got quite busy and we sat in quite a lot of traffic there. Devon Hills isn't that well sign posted so we ended up driving past it and having to turn around. Go down the turning for the Blagdon Inn rather than in the main entrance - it's much easier to get to Orchard Park. The front door of the caravan was a bit tricky to lock and unlock but I think that was to do with the heat as it was fine early in the morning when it was cooler. We managed with it OK- it just needed a little wiggling and patience!

Caravan was beautifully clean and well looked after. Lots of kitchen stuff (cups, plates, soap, washing up liquid etc), towels, bedding provided. Good tvs in main living area and bedroom and loads of DVDs supplied. There was also a cupboard with family games in and, when we arrived, there was a bottle of wine, nibbles and tea and coffee waiting for us. The shower was really powerful and we didn't run out of hot water despite all four of us having at least one shower every day. The area of the park we were in was really quiet and easy to locate. The Blagdon Inn was a 2min walk away and the food was great. It was NOTHING like a 'community center' which I read in one review on Trip Advisor! The park has two playgrounds which our 4 and 6 year old really enjoyed. Great location, 5mins away from Paignton zoo. 20mins from Torquay. Lots of shops etc within 5-10mins driving distance. We had a really lovely stay.

It was a little dusty in places. The curtains were quite see through so they let quite a bit of light in in the morning so hung up a towel on the net rail to block it out (not a problem really, I'm just very sensitive to light when I'm sleeping).

Lots of tea and coffee and milk pods available which was nice to have on arrival. The owner left some wine and nibbles too which was a lovely surprise. The caravan was nice and open and they had some games and dvds for kids so my 4 year old was happily entertained on an evening. Water pressure was good in the shower and the caravan itself was warm.

The carpets were hairy buy oy to be expected being dog friendly.

The bed was superbly comfortable, the static was very well equipped. Dvd collection very impressive! Wonderful host. Great location. Will definitely be booking again.
