Shower was a little cramp, but that’s understandable due to size of the cottage and limited space

Fantastic character cottage, clean and very comfortable. Great location in the centre of Henley. Would highly recommend

The stairs are quite steep and narrow so wouldn’t be suitable for a large person

It is one of the cutest properties I’ve ever stayed in. In the centre of Henley it’s ideal for browsing the shops and cafes. It’s an ideal property/location for a couple wanting to explore the area

A beautiful historic cottage with loads of character in central Henley. Owner left a welcome tray which was helpful. Cottage was tiny but we loved it and ideal for a short break. Would definitely recommend.

A convenient & charming property in the heart of Henley-on-Thames. I appreciated how well-prepared our host, Lucy, was in providing information about our stay ahead of time. I would stay again if I were visiting! The property is well laid out so you can easily find everything you need.

The shower was really hard to get consistent hot water so l had several cold water showers. It was more luck than judgement if the water was warm. The duvet was rather thin , which in a cold January snap was rather more character forming than l'd like.

The property is gloriously quirky and oozes history. It has character aplenty!

    - The public parking wasn't available outside so I went to the station car park, but Lucy had warned me that might happen, so I was ready. - The cottage is, as in the name, tiny with access upstairs via steep steps through a hatch. I was fine with that (and welcomed the advice to close the hatch overnight) but I recommend looking very carefully at the info to check you are happy with the layout.

    - Jaw droppingly historic, beautiful charming cottage, yet superbly equipped. - Welcoming host via advance messages. - Sustainability practices: all liquids in refillable bottles. - Added luxuries eg towelling bath robes - Amazing location, right in the heart of Henley: I recommend visiting the info centre and getting the free walking tour map, or the more complete £4 walking guide of the historic buildings.
