  • The Old Library Review score: 9.5

“Beautiful apartment over three stories within historic building. Incredibly spacious with two bedrooms, three toilets and two bathrooms. We really appreciated all amenities provided, including a washing machine and full kitchen. The space is light and airy, very clean and super comfortable. Painswick is also a beautiful historic village that is picture postcard perfect.”

  • “Quaint cottage in a lovely setting close to Painswick. Everything you need in a kitchen. Good quality appliances. A welcome pack of bread, butter, eggs and milk was much appreciated. Excellent shower. Comfortable beds, pillows and quilts. Lovely log fire to sit round. Clear and concise information on arrival.”

  • “Location perfect”

  • Tibbiwell Lodge Review score: 8.2

“Richard was an exceptionally welcoming host, and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He is a wonderful conversationalist, attentive and interested in his guests. A medical issue arose while we were at Tibbiwell, and Janina immediately taxied us to the emergency room in Gloucester, waited to see that we were okay in the ER, texted several times to see how we were doing, and then returned to bring us 'home' to Tibbiwell. Between these two wonderful hosts, we were well taken care of. ... Our room was lovely, very clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the Cotswold hills. Thank you for generous hospitality. We highly recommend Tibbiwell Lodge in beautiful Painswick.”

  • St.Michaels Bistro Review score: 8.9

“Painswick is a very interesting place to visit. The food and accommodation is excellent, and breakfast offers an amazing choice of Pastries, Meats, Cheeses, Compotes and cereals. Much more than we could eat, and we were given a take away box to enjoy a snack later.”
