“The room while adequate was nothing special and certainly not a £127.00 a night room without breakfast. If breakfast was added it would have pushed the cost to the £155.00 a night which would have overpriced. Staff were very friendly but service for the evening meal we booked for they seemed rushed off their feet without enough staff to cater for the amount of people in the pub. Food was good when it arrived. Overall, nice place, friendly staff,clean rooms, and good breakfast but not what I would call value for money.”

Our room had a double bed and a put-u-up - both were comfortable enough for a two night stay. The small radiator helped to warm the room slightly.
