“As soon as we arrived, the whole atmosphere of the park was so peaceful. Check in was well communicated through email prior to us arriving and the lady who checked us in was lovely. The welcome pack was a nice touch and meant we could have a cuppa straight away after a long drive and provided us with cleaning bits too. The park was the perfect location to use as a base for visiting different areas of the Lake District and had some lovely walks nearby. The caravan we stayed in was massive and had everything we could have wanted, even tin foil and cling film which was a godsend. There was also a laundry room (although we didn’t use it) and there was a book swap and a rack full of information booklets for nearby attractions and travel options.
We even saw a deer on our way out of the park on our first day!”
