Would highly recommend exploring Major Oak in Sherwood forest, the Chatsworth House (can easily spend the entire day exploring), and Hardwick Hall. Do take the tours as the volunteers and the tour guides are absolutely amazing and full of the history and juicy stories about the Dukes that owned/lived there. Had a tasty dinner at the New Chand (indian restaurant).”
