“We liked everything about Sinai House
Alison and Vic were delightful hosts
The dining room had views of the garden where you could watch lots of different birds at the feeders or a sea view. Breakfast was amazing. There was so much choice and plenty of it. Breakfast was beautifully presented. The lovely little jars of honey were produced by their own honey bees
The room was very nice, very clean and comfortable with lovely sea views. Tea coffee and biscuits were topped up each day and FRESH milk was provided in a flask The bath/shower room was very well equipped with toiletries and towels”
“The property is ideally placed situated 100 yards from the top of the funicular railway. Providing easy access to coastal and inland walks. It offers panoramic views of the estuary from the dining room and veranda seating. Breakfast was served on a variety of bone china which complimented the Victorian decor in a pleasing fusion of contemporary design. I mentioned breakfast but it would be remiss of me if I didn’t mention just how good it was. The eggs were so rich and perfectly cooked. Whichever menu option we chose it was delivered quickly with a smile. Making the ideal start to every morning.”
“The host Diane was very friendly and pleasant nothing to much trouble , every were was very clean and tidy, the rooms were well equipped with lovely views, lovely big comfortable lounge , breakfast was good plenty of choice . The area was outstanding a little hilly for my wife though”
“The room was fab- clean , comfortable and spacious with little details that made the difference.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
The views were beautiful.
Ness and Phil were exceptional hosts - nothing was too much trouble.”
“This is one of the strangest hotels I have ever stayed in. It has a huge lounge, a large dining area and a smaller lounge. All of which are empty most of the day as they do not serve food or sell drinks for some reason. My single room was very small and filled with very old and tatty furniture. But for one night it was fine and good value. The whole room was very tired in the way many older hotels used to be.
This is not a hotel you look forward to staying in but good if you just need a basic room to sleep in.”
“What wonderful hosts, so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent.
Location great, good choice of pubs and restaurants to dine in the evenings.
Thank you for a perfect few days, would love to return one day.”
“An exceptional hotel, fantastic breakfast, very comfortable room. There were various delicious homemade cakes available to take after breakfast which was definitely welcome after all the walking we did. The hosts are amazing.”
“The apartment was immaculate, spacious and modern.”
