We recently had the pleasure of staying at West Lyn Farm and it was truly an exceptional experience. Astley, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location of the farm was great, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.The property itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere throughout our stay. One of the highlights was definitely Astley’s lemon drizzle cake and delicious breakfast, which featured locally sourced fresh eggs. But perhaps the most unforgettable aspect of our stay were the stunning views and 3 friendly dogs that greeted us each morning. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy Easter weekend.

It was a real pleasure to stay at the beautifully appointed West Lyn Farm. Hostess Astley couldn't have been more welcoming, kind and chatty. Our room which was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and with a lovely ensuite, had great views over Lynton and Lynmouth out to the Bristol Channel. We had a wonderful nights sleep in a super comfy bed and a delicious breakfast - full english the first morning bountiful with cereals, yoghurt, and toast and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on our 2nd morning. Lovely touches such as homemade cake was left in our room and there was a lovely garden strewn with fairy lights for her guests to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Everything! We received such a warm and friendly welcome. Delicious cake on arrival, fabulous breakfasts, nothing was too much. The cottage was immaculate and tasteful in every way.

Its a beautiful country home in a beautiful location. While the location was out in the country, nearby towns were within a walkable distance. Host was very friendly and made us feel at home. Provided lots of suggestions for things to do. Host was always concerned with our well being and happiness.

Astley is so friendly and accommodating which definitely contributed to our little holiday being good. Her house is beautiful and the room we stayed in was spacious, clean, had a lovely ensuite and the view was amazing.

Great host, with a fab sense of humour, nothing was too much trouble and very knowledgable about the area. Room was spacious , very comfortable bed, beautifully decorated. Views from bedroom window were breathtaking ( even in the rain). Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice.

A stunning location with a fantastic view of the sea, situated right by a hiking trail. Astley is a super friendly host who makes you feel at home right away. The room is tastefully decorated. Highly recommended.

Lovely and quiet location with beautiful seaview, perfect to watch the sunset. Astley is super friendly, great host made us very welcome. There is everything you need in the room, very comfortable bed, high quality finish with attention to details. Lovely dogs that are very well trained. Perfect place for a short stay away.

The location was perfect for walking and accessing the local area. The room was beautifully finished to a very high standard and had a fantastic view of the coast. Astley was a brilliant host, great fun, very helpful, and made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented.

Breakfast was cooked beautifully. The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in. Astley made us fell like we were visiting a friend. Everything from the china to the bedding was top quality.

Astley, the host, was very kind, friendly and helpful. She helped us arrange our plans for every day of our stay, so we had a chance to visit best local places. The house was also lovely, very homely and clean with beautiful decor. Farm is located on a hill so we would wake up to sea views. ❤️ Astley also has two wonderful dogs that kept us company at breakfast time. All in all, we loved our stay!

There was nothing we didn't like. We were sad to leave! Really nothing that we felt we would change.

The Farm is beautiful, peaceful and with the most wonderful views. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Greeted on arrival with a warm welcome with tea and cake on the terrace. Really just felt like home! The room was beautiful with views across the landscape to the sea beyond. All the furnishings were perfect even the towels were lovely and big and soft. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Astley is an amazing hostess, so natural and welcoming. We really can't recommend West Lynn Farm highly enough....just a wonderful stay.

The extremely welcoming host (Astley) who made feel right at home and was very attentive and makes a wonderful breakfast. The quality of home decor and furnishing within our room was top notch as was the beautiful en suite

Superb peaceful and rural location and very comfortable room with everything you could need. Great views across to the valley and coast. Astley was a very attentive host, keen to offer suggestions for things to do and places to see. Excellent breakfast too. Handy to have a friendly pub serving good meals within walking distance from the B&B.
