  • Rose Cottage Review score: 9.4

“Amazing old world period cottage with every home comfort. A well equipped kitchen with washing up liquid etc and laundry wash liquid for the washing machine. Tea, coffee and milk plus biscuits were a thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend as being excellent value for money.”

    “Comfortable, warm, well equipped”

  • “Pre arrival contact, the welcome at the property, (including scones, jam, butter and fresh milk in the fridge). It was a lovely quirky clean cottage that had us feeling relaxed as soon as we arrived.”

  • “The cottage is lovely and location is excellent. Good walks right from the door (recommend Hill top reserve & river walk to Potter Heighman) fab well stocked shop and good pub and butchers on your doorstep. Ludham is really well placed for exploring the broads and Norfolk coast. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful when we arrived. They provided lots of lovely touches (including homemade scones) and helpful information about the area. Highly recommend.”

“The hosts had thought carefully about what was needed for a very comfortable stay, including putting in reading lighting, setting up central heating times, comprehensive notes about amenities at the cottage and supplying extension leads to make the stay super easy to use appliances. The kitchen had everything you could need right down to trays for eating food in front of the tv if you didn’t want to sit at the table. To top it all the cottage looked so beautiful with roses growing round the door and thatched roofing, right out of a fairytale!”
