“Room was excellent, only stayed for one night so can’t comment further really. Staff were extremely helpful after a booking error that could have ruined our evening and potentially caused us a long drive home. We were embarking on a train trip within a couple of hours so wouldn’t have had time to organise alternative accommodation, which we would have had to pay for, even if there was anything available locally. As we had settled in full through booking.com there would also have been the pain of obtaining a refund. Thankfully the hotel was able to provide us with two super rooms. Which was brilliant.”
