“The location is exactly right for a peaceful break & for walking & discovering this part of Essex there are plenty of sign posted walks & being in an AONB is a bonus, however you would have to account for the weather .
There are also a couple of Tea rooms offering good quality food but not much else to do if the weather is bad you would need to go elsewhere for things to do
Staff were very pleasant & helpful.
The room we stayed in number 1 was large & had a fantastic view of the church & high street the bathroom was very big & we had an antique style bath with a hand held shower .”
