We were here on a holiday from Australia tracing the steps of our father who lived in Burnham before the war. He helped his father take tourists down to Creaksea for picnics on a small boat named "ucmeopit". He lived at 1Riverside Road & did a mechanical apprenticeship at Hartwells in 1940.
Dad married & moved to Australia in 1959 & only came back to England in 1980 for a visit.”
