“Anchor House was a perfect place for our 2 night stay in Alford. Paul and Nicky were warm, welcoming, friendly hosts and we felt at home from the start. Paul was great to communicate with prior to arriving and very helpful with eating/ drinking suggestions in town. We arrived quite late and got take away Chinese food which Paul invited us to bring back to the BnB to eat in the breakfast room where he had set a table and warmed plates for us.
The room was cosy, clean and comfortable with attractive decor and lovely modern bathroom. The full English breakfast ( included in the room rate) provided lots of choice and was delicious.
The property was located within a few minutes walk to all the town offers and we would thoroughly recommend it.
