Television needs an upgrade! I like to settle down late in the evening and watch movies so being able to tune in to Netflix or Amazon prime would have been useful, but I appreciate this is a personal preference. Understandably, the stairs are very steep to get down to the bedroom in the particular apartment I was in. Walking down them requires extra concentration!

The host is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He explained lots of detail about the apartment and local area including public transport. The apartment is located a 15 minute walk from the centre and 30 minute walk to the beach. A supermarket that supplied everything I needed is a 30 second walk away! Apartment is clean, a comfortable temperature and quiet with a pretty garden. I liked being able to sit outside in the sun.

We absolutely loved everything about the apartment we rented. It was beautifully appointed, with everything you require. The location was brilliant, close to the station, old town, shopping centre and car parking. Driving into Nice is a bit of a nightmare but Jean-Luc gave us great instructions for making the whole process very easy. Jean-Luc also gave us great information on visiting places, how to get there, when not to travel. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Nice.

The apartment was very well located, with easy access to the tram. The apartment was very quiet and very clean - very well maintained on lovely grounds. Jean-Luc, the host, was thoughtful and kind. We had a very nice stay.

Jean-Luc was a wonderful host and even came to meet me from the tram, and introduce me to the apartment. The layout was unusual - split across two floors … but this was perfect for me and gave me a good separation between sleeping and working/breakfasting. The apartment and the neighbourhood was very peaceful … and this part of town was my favourite during my week-long stay in Nice.

No complaints, it was a perfect stay for us.

The apartment has an elegant 2-level loft layout that provides a lot of space. The facilities (kitchen, laundry, etc) were completely sufficient for our 6-day stay. The attached balcony is perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea or wine. The overall atmosphere was excellent with a nice outdoor garden and tasteful decoration inside. While being fairly close to the city center, transportation and restaurants, the apartment was very quiet. It was also exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Finally, the owner Jean-Luc was one of the nicest, friendliest hosts we've ever met!

The bedrooms provided on the ground floor apartments were a little dark, but nothing really to complain of.

Clean, well equipped, good location. Charming building & gardens. Jean-Luc, the owner, is a great guy. Super helpful, happy to recommend and book decent restaurants and things to see for us. He made our visit a pleasure.

We enjoyed being a little away from the main tourist area, however if you have mobility difficulties, the walk and steps at the property may be a problem.

Great accommodation, spotlessly clean, and friendly helpful host. The property is located in a quiet area a couple of streets away from Liberation Square and the tram station, where there is a daily market and lots of shops, cafes and bars.

Location is very convenient and quiet; train station is very close to the property (walking distance); long shopping street is also a few steps away. The host Jean-Luc is very helpful and friendly, really does much for the comfort of his guests. The apartment is very clean. The apartment has everything you need for your comfortable stay in Nice, you just bring your suitcase with clothes and feel yourself home.

However the Jade duplex would have suited a younger couple, we would have been better off in an apartment which had more conventional stairs.

We stayed at Ville le Nid for ten nights from 28th of July to 7th of August in the duplex apartment named Emeraude. The apartment was very clean and well organized, modern and with everything you need for short or longer stay. Blandine and Jean-Luc are a wonderful host and very helpful, gave us good advice and always willing to help. The beautiful garden around the house had a lot of tables and chairs for the guests staying at the Ville le Nid. There is a grocery store just around the corner. The fruits and vegetables market on the next street. There is also Tram stop which takes you straight down to the beach which is only a few stops away. The neighborhood is very quiet and not so much tourism as down at the beach which is only few minutes away. We highly recommend Villa le Nid. Blandine and Jean-Luc thank you very much for lovely stay.

I would have to scratch my head and would just be nit-picking.

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed in- the apartment and the gardens. Spotlessly clean with attention to detail- loved the decor. The garden is beautiful with lots of trees offering shade with a splash of colour from the flower trees- perfect for an outside meal or a cup of coffee in the morning. Jean Luc met us at check-in and helped with luggage( also when checking out), which was very much appreciated. Very close to amenities with many restaurants within a very short walking distance. The train station also very close by, making it super easy to explore- Monaco was a quick 20minute train ride. Jean Luc is the quintessential gentleman, he made my 12 day stay all the more worthwhile.

This wasn’t a problem for us, but a word of warning if you have trouble with your legs: the villa is on an incline so you need to climb a couple of stories worth of steps to reach it.

A cozy, recently renovated apartment. We had the Diamant apartment which is on two levels and we loved it. It had all the amenities needed (a nice bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, air conditioning) and a small balcony to have breakfast in. The location is very good: a short walk from Tramway Ligne 1 with restaurants, cafes and a grocery store nearby. Jean-Luc was very welcoming and messaging with him before and during our stay was easy. There was even a complimentary bottle of rosé in the fridge.

I stayed at Villa Le Nid in June/July 2023: fantastic experience. Nicely located, close to the Tram and the "Non-touristic" place, La Liberation, lovely rooms and a Garden which enlarges the apartment quite naturally. Jean-Luc and Blandine are terrific hosts, very welcoming, helpful, and client-focused. I can highly recommend staying with them.
