The host is super sweet, funny and cares for his customers. This was my first time in France and lucky enough to find this stay. Every morning, he will prepare bread and stand there chatting with you. 10/10 :) Ps: the dogs are also super cute.

We were a little bit surprised that the bath was in the bedroom, also the toilet was behind a little bit seethrough door, as I was travelling with a friend we would maybe appreciate a little bit more privacy in the bathroom but for one night it was not a big deal. Also our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs were quite steep, we are young and didn’t mind but maybe for older or less fit people it could be a problem.

It was really nice, Etretat is breathtaking, the host was very friendly. Etretat is quite small and this acommodation was close to everything.

Very hospitable and friendly host! Thank you for your care and great vacation! The room was very comfortable: cozy interior, wonderful bed, comfortable pillows, unusual bathroom, very beautiful. There was a kettle in the room, wi-fi worked. In the morning the host served breakfast in the charming living room. We liked everything!

The owner was absolutely delightful and extremely helpful. He provided a map and recommendations, and made sure I had everything I needed, including a complimentary raincoat, which came in handy. The three very friendly and sweet dogs that live there were an added bonus for me :) I do note that it is a walkup, so if you have heavy bags you will need to navigate some narrow stairs, but otherwise, the experience was entirely delightful. The wifi is a bit in-and-out, but that is because it is a small village by the sea and this was a particularly rainy night. No complaints. :) The tea and kettle in the room was a nice touch. Gorgeous spread for breakfast and charming conversation as well.

I have only good things to say about Wilfrid's house. Let me start by saying that Wilfrid himself is an incredibly interesting person. He met us, accommodated, gave advice on where to walk and have a dinner (and where not to go), and even drew a map. In the mornings, he fed us breakfast, made coffee and told us numerous stories from his interesting life. It needs to be made into a movie. 🙂 The room itself is located in an historic building. You have your own bathroom and toilet in it. The room has a kettle and basically everything you might need. And I can’t even tell you how beautiful is the antique furniture. At the same time, my husband and I personally did not feel like we were in a museum; on the contrary, we felt very comfortable in this house. Thanks to Wilfrid for how our holiday in Normandy turned out.

Wilfred was an excellent host provided a comfortable and clean apartment, breakfast was a sociable occasion where Wilfred entertained us with his local knowledge and we exchanged amusing stories and he offered local advice to enhance our stay in Etretat.

You live in the house with history, so you should be ready for the creaking stairs).

In the centre of everything you need while travelling ( a super market, a good meat restaurant, the beach, the cheapest parking). The owner is easy to communicate and flexible. And he has funny stories about lots of lovely things in his house to amuse you during your breakfast). The croissants and coffee are the best during our travel!

It was a bit hard to take a shower because it doesn’t have curtain and if you are not that precise you can rain the dining room which is downstairs, you should be careful when taking a shower

All was good, the room is fantastic, the view from the bathroom is beautiful, the breakfast is perfect, Wilfrid is a cool guy, who knows a lot and can speak about everything, very intelligent

The host was wonderful. He hand drew me a map of the area and gave me excellent recommendations. He even let me borrow a wetsuit for swimming! The room and home was kitschy and fun. I had a lovely bath, a great nap, and a beautiful hike at sunset. Breakfast was yummy and shared at the communal dining table. Would highly recommend!

The room is full of antique items. That’s lovely but I caused a flood because water leaked behind the ancient bathtub

The room is well located in the heart of Etrétat which means you can enjoy its beauty when the day trippers go home.
