The host was very friendly and attentive. I really appreciated the large room and bathroom very well decorated, a plus for the winter garden in the room. Breakfast exellent. the garden area is nice to rest. The location was very good, just a few minutes from the town centre where there are shops and good restaurants.

It is a beautiful property run by two amazing owners who made our stay very special! Beautiful, tasteful decor, perfect location (10 minutes walk to old town), delicious gourmet breakfast, beautiful grounds, lovely decorated spacious rooms, positive vibes, all together makes this property rated as an outstanding, excellent property. I would recommend it without any hesitation!

Nothing - this place is perfect! The only downfall is that it's probably ruined anywhere else I'm ever gonna stay again because nothing else could be this perfect.

I loved everything about this place. Robert and Jean Yves have literally thought of everything to ensure their guest's comfort. The room was lovely; tastefully decorated, quiet and clean. The breakfast was easily the best I've ever had - delivered to the door in a picnic basket every morning, I was able to eat it at my leisure (not to mention where ever I wanted! I could eat it in my room or bring it to the lovely garden). The gorgeous garden was perfect if I wanted to sit out with a glass of wine each evening. Not to mention the consideration with which I was treated by my hosts; for example, I was sitting out one evening and Robert arrived over with insect repellent because he said the mosquitos would be bad that evening (he was right!). Villa Kumquats is also an ideal location - it's away from the city center making it lovely and quiet, but still very easy walking distance to everywhere. I was less than 10 minutes walk from the city center and maybe 15 minutes walk to the cathedral. The only time I got a taxi throughout my whole stay was to go to the airport. I was easily able to walk everywhere (and I did walk everywhere, Bezier is a very walkable city). I was so stressed and looking for a relaxing break when I arrived in Beziers and I certainly got that. I came away feeling so chilled out. I would actually return to Bezier just to stay at Villa Kumquat again. Thank you guys for everything, you were fantastic!

Beautifully restored, excellent facilities, exceptionally clean. Even though we couldn’t speak much French we were able to communicate with the host via a translation app. Great breakfast in a picnic basket which we could have either eaten in our room or in the garden outside. Free parking on the street outside. 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Nothing. Maybe a fraction closer to town would be good but we had the quiet of being 15 minutes walk away.

The upmarket breakfast delivered in a gorgeous basket was fabulous. Our room with extra sun room was very large with plenty of space for dining. Bathroom was enormous. All was beautifully furnished with interesting art. Robert was so kind and caring with great restaurant and sightseeing suggestions.

Room and bathroom were extremely spacious. The private patio was divine. Everything was there for our comfort. No detail was overlooked. The breakfast in a basket was amazing. We could eat on the patio. And the host was attentive without being intrusive.

Spacious, stylish rooms; lovely garden, though our stay wasn’t long enough to get the benefit of it; great breakfast basket too. Robert was welcoming and was available to help make this a super break. Béziers itself was a discovery- a 10-15 minute walk to the centre (we’re in our 79s). Strongly recommend.

It was perfect

Villa Kumquats is a brilliant place to stay, experience Beziers and the surrounding areas. Canal de midi, a canal aquaduct and the Les 9 Écluses de Fonseranes, plys shopping centres, shops and parks. We stayed 3 days and just about did it all. The house was fabulous well equipped massive rooms, we had bedroom, bathroom and a dining area with fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Breakfast was outside the door every morning in a basket coffee, croissants, bread, butter, cheese, ham. fruit, yoghurt, granola, juice fabulous to eat on the balcony or in the garden. Wine was also available to buy 15Euros a bottle - delicious. And the hosts had a list of restaurants to visit we tried 4 all great food and good value.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Kumquats. The apartment was an easy walk from the centre of town. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The garden was vibrant and beautiful, and the perfect space to enjoy breakfast and relax in the evenings. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the perfect start to a day exploring Beziers. Robert and Jean-Yves were the perfect hosts, they had thought of everything and were so accommodating and welcoming throughout our stay. Their recommendations for local restaurants were also spot on. Will definitely be returning in the future!

We disliked nothing about the visit

The hotel was in a good position with on road parking. Room was very comfortable, decoration was quirky and interesting. Breakfast was extremely good, a very tasty picnic basket was left outside our room in the mornings. Host was very pleasant and helpful. The location was very peaceful and quiet at night.

Absolutely nothing not to like.

The breakfast was beautifully presented and very ample and wholly delicious: excellent: needed a bit more coffee but the request for was met willingly and unconditionally. Bathroom and supplies therein 'spot on'; comfy bed, well thought out refreshments in fridge. The welcome by Jean-Yvre (forgive me not necessarily accurate name spell) was cordial and his presence attentive and completely non intrusive. Ideal private location with outdoor area more than ideal in every way.
