Large picture above bed which was also a light was too low and I kept banging my head when I sat up in bed. The shower screen bottom seal was poor and caused the bathroom floor to get very wet. Also the shower head wld not stay in place (I stuck a plaster on the pole to stop it dropping). Wi Fi had no password. Booking stated a balcony but my room was over the awning of the hotel

Receptionist when I arrived was lovely. I had asked for a shower cubicle which they didn't have available only a shower over the bath . She said if I had a problem climbing in and out of bath she wld get me a small step to help. When I discovered broken hangers in room they replaced them right away. Reception, breakfast room and lounge looked lovely. Kettle in the room was very handy. Breakfast the usual with (sometimes) scrambled eggs and sausages. A NOTE TO GUESTS - if you are arriving my train and wish to use public transport from the train station walk across the square/garden opposite cross at the pedestrian xing with the Tourist Office opposite on your right and Conference Hall in front. On the pavement along to the left as you face the Hall is the bus stop.Buses 2 or 10 get off at Boisdenier (3 stops) which is right in front of hotel. If you intend using buses you can buy a 24hr (E4,10) or 48hr (E6.30) ticket from machines. Buying single ticket from driver cost a little more that from machine.

The cleaning staff is not well-trained, ignoring the "Do Not Disturb" sign and leaving behind dirty shirts and pillowcases that don't belong to this room after cleaning.

The reception staff is very helpful, offering advice for sightseeing.

Hotel is in a good location, just a short walk from a large selection of bars and restaurants around Place Plumereau. Onsite parking is a bonus, especially on a motorbike that you would rather keep somewhere secure overnights. Staff friendly and room was what you'd expect for the price - clean and functional.

He checked us in fast with respecting all standards. And Mohamed during check out gave us necessary information and was talkative and kind.

Clean, nice small hotel which allows dogs - great plus. Short is walk to the center which was nice. Good for our one night pitstop on our road trip.

The wifi was really poor in the room,so I had to stand in the passage to get reception. The bathroom needed attention to mould in the corners around the bath, but was a good size.

A good breakfast with plenty of choices.Staff were helpful and friendly. A nice big room ,with a kettle for tea and coffee.

Cannot pre book the parking, so if you arrive late there is possibility of no space as it is quite small.

Excellent location, lots of good restaurants within 5 minutes walk, main shops 10 mins, Old Town and River 10 to 15 mins walk, on city bus route if wet. Clean, efficient city hotel, around 1980s but well refurbished. Secure parking underneath for £10.

I didn't dislike it but you should know that the carpark access is via a narrow entrance, down a steep slope, with a very tight corner at the bottom of it. It's worth using because parking is secure and convenient but do take care on entrance and exit.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Everything is well-presented. The hotel even provided me with some gluten-free options for breakfast (put in an advance request if you require that - it seems to be quite a rare thing in French hotels). The hotel is very well located for Tours centre, the historic centre and places to eat and shop. Despite this the room was quiet and peaceful. I am disabled and we were on the first floor, which was accessible by elevator, so that was ideal. I walk with a stick and think you would have to specifically ask for a wheelchair accessible room if that's what you need. There car park is also accessible by elevator (park on level -1). Almost opposite the hotel is a lovely bookshop, which I highly recommend. We were there to drop off our child at the university and were only two blocks away from their accommodation.
