Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandRoom had no Aircon and only a small fan. Window was left open to provide ventilation, and we got attacked by mosquitos. Requested early check-in, but unfortunately, this wasn't available, and we had to wait until 3 pm. to check in. Price was high, especially considering this is a budget hotel.
The location was excellent, only minutes from the main rail station and the sights of the centre. The room was comfortable. WiFi was decent, and the breakfast was more than adequate. Staff were friendly.

FinlandRoom doesn't have enough lighting facilities, its gloomy and dark. It felt stressful if you stay long. Recommend for very short stays. Room size isn't enough and I think they do not have A/C rooms
Location is great, railway station, tram and tourist attractions are near by. Well cleaned rooms. I'm happy about their service, even though they provide breakfast 7 - 10 a.m., they prepared a small breakfast for me even I checked-out before 7 a.m. So this is highly appreciated.

GermanyThe carpet in the room is smelly. The door to the toilet is a coupe one. I was ok with that given I travelled alone.
Overall good for its money. The location is perfect for both travelling by train and exploring the city with touristic purposes. Wi-Fi connection was more or less ok. The breakfast is plain, but more than enough. There was always food on offer, the breakfast room was well-kept and not overcrowded. The staff is very nice and friendly. There are touristic maps and brochures available. I left my luggage after the check-out, and also used a possibility to work a bit in the small lobby/ breakfast room.

United KingdomHad to open the window to cool the room but then the mosquitos flew in . I would like air conditioning or a more powerful fan and perhaps mosquito repellent. the lift needs to be repaired correctly. It is not pleasant to be stuck in a lift.

Excellent position near the city centre, close to the train station, bus stops and shuttle to/from the airport. Big room and comfortable bed. Breakfast is OK.
