Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThis residence, consisting of separate self-contained apartments, is located near the rear exit of Rennes station. On the other side of the railway station there is an intercity bus station. We, a family of three and a cat, occupied a two-room suite, which also had a bathroom with toilet, a kitchen-hall and a balcony. From the window of the room with a balcony there was a wonderful view of the suburbs and the railway along which the trains moved, but there was no noise. The furnishings of the rooms were not new, but not too worn out either. The burnt out light bulb was quickly replaced. The kitchen area was modest, but included everything you needed (refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, stove, dishes). Breakfast is standard French, but it is available. A very convenient place to come to Rennes, explore it, and then spend the nights and make one-day excursions around Bretagne. The price-quality ratio is good. Pets are allowed for a modest daily fee.

MexicoI arrived to the AppartHotel on Saturday around 3 pm, then I had to use my code to retrieve the key but it was incorrect in the email I received days before, I had to call a number for assistance, the first lady didn't understand English very well, the second lady was very helpful and I could retrieve my room key. About room facilities, my room was a standard room with window toward the rails of train station (looking toward the east) room A415... The key is at old style, a physical key, I was expecting a card like most of the modern hotels, but for the room price it's ok. The bathroom is very small, the water boiler is located inside the bathroom just over the WC which is uncomfortable to use, I 'm 1.71m tall so it was not so good. The WC seat was not broken but it had a malfunction where the seat moved when you seated over it. One of the towels even it was "clean" it seemed to be dirty due to maybe it was not washed very well. The main concern with bathroom was the shower, very small place, about 80 cm by 80 cm (32 x 32 inches) with a single curtain, I even couldn´t wash myself comfortably, this was my main unsatisfaction with the room, In the little kitchen the faucet was loose, no leaking but when you tried to move the faucet it moved all together and change from cold to warm water was a little difficult. Kitchen crockery was basic, I needed a large deep plate but I only had a large bow, and 3 little bowls, so, no big deal but just to have it in mind. Kitchen accessories, everything basic but good except the plastic shovel, so weak and I even couldn't use it for a couple of scramble eggs. I suggest to add more basic accessories and some other plates of different sizes. Refrigerator, very tiny, in my first supermarket purchase the refrigerator was full and I had to leave somethings out.
Location - just one step from train station, the room was clean, all basic needs were covered. Breakfast - I didn't use the breakfast optional service but the place and food seems to be very good for only 10 euros. Staff - The support once from reception personnel was very good. Bed - The bed was very comfortable, clean sheets. Room - In general, good size room for a 1 single person, but to be the concept of apparthotel, I would have expected a larger table with at least 2 chairs, more optional accessories in the kitchen and a large shower, but in general considering the facilities, location and general state of the room per the price I paid, I think it is a valuable option.

ArmeniaThere is very beautiful view on the train station and trains and of course a lot of noice. You will get used to it shortly but take it into account if you have sleep problems. Bathroom needs some renovation and was not clear enough.
Room was not big and not small. It has everything needed. Very convenient location just over the train station. If you are using stay at Rennes as a base to visit Mont Saint Michel and other nearby attractions it is working well. But you need to walk 20 mins to reach city center. Cooking facilities were great. Automatic checkin and checkout works well.

United KingdomHot. No AC. Was a fan but not much use. Kitchen tap very wobbly. Bathroom plenty of space but shower small. TV good but no international news channel available. No cafetiere or similar in kitchen.
Location. Easy (late) check-in. Clean. Ample hot water. Enough space. Bed fine. Small kitchenette with very basic equipment. Shower worked well. Could leave bags after checkout. Generous noon end time.

BrazilThe bathroom is small and without windows (what make it smell like wet sometimes...). And since it has only a plastic courtain, if you don't have care it wets all the bathroom during shower. And in the summer, the room don't have air conditioner, so you need to have a little bit of patience...
I enjoyed a good time at the acommodation! The woman in the reception was very symphatic and helpful (check-in and check-out really fast). The rooms are like small suites, so they have a small kitchen (well equiped) and a good space to rest and even work/study. It's comfortable, silence (even being literally in front of the SCNF station) and worth the price. We went to the centre walking (around 20min) but it has a metro station in the station besides (as some restaurants and markets).

United KingdomThere are no hooks/clothes pegs near the door to hang outdoor clothes when you come into the studio.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon when the reception was closed. When I booked the accommodation, the property sent me a code which enabled us to enter the main door. A second and different code enabled us to retrieve the key to our studio from a safe box. Our twin studio was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space (chest of drawers and wardrobe). The beds were very comfortable,, even if they were a bit higher than normal. Towels and free toiletries (soap/hair and body shampoo/hair conditioner) are provided. The kitchenette had washing up liquid, but no tea-towel or sponge. Cutlery/plates/glasses/bowls/saucepans/kettle are provided. A washing machine (3 Euro) and a dryer (3 Euro) are available on the ground floor. The location is perfect if you arrive by train (regional trains and TGV), as the railway station is just in front of the property. The city centre is a bit far on foot (about 20 mins), but there is a metro to the city centre in the railway station and bus stops nearby..
