My first room was awful: broken toilet, dirty shower, view of the parking lot (described as 'garden view') and poorly organized so I felt as if in a box or cell. The evening staff who checked us in were unhelpful. I wanted to use the pool, but as a disabled person, could not as there are no security adaptations there. I was fearful of getting in, lest I could not get out again; there is nothing to hold onto. I suggest that they put in some simple safety bars.

Senior staff was responsive to my requests to move. Pretty location. Nice lobby and garden. Nice but expensive breakfast. Comfortable suite, once we settled.

Directions to the hotel on the bookings.com app offer very expensive taxi. No mention of buses. Eventually used a reasonable priced taxi to the hotel from the train station, but used a local bus after our visit to return to the station

Ground floor means you hear people passing by in the street there was also no water the morning we had to leave.

The pool area is outdated and needs more plants around it and a bar upstairs. There is a lot of wasted space and just felt a bit abandoned...even though it is prime real estate with great views. Put some love into that rooftop!

Great view from our room and the staff was very friendly and provided good service. The location is excellent for attending events at the Theatre de la Mer and dining on the strip along the canal.

First of all, we found the staff very unwelcoming & unfriendly. If we needed to ask anything from reception, we were greeted with moody faces and people unwilling to help. My friend was even nervous to ask reception anything because of how grumpy they were. It does not help that there is no restaurant/bar as such on site so if you do want any refreshments you have to ask reception to get them for you. I did not like that this hotel was set up in this way. It would be much better if the hotel had a bar to order drinks from. Also the pool area is not great - the pool itself is a plunge pool & there are only 10 or so loungers so at times we were unable to use the area because it was full. Furthermore, the location is mediocre. If you are visiting the theatre de la mer it is perfect but it is still a 15 minute walk into town & a 40 minute walk to the beach so we found ourselves using buses & Ubers often.

The hotel facilities & the room was very clean. We had cleaners attend our room daily to change the linen & towels. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are visiting Theatre de la Mer. There is a cute outdoor courtyard which is nice to sit in.

The pool & breakfast area on the top floor need updating. The breakfast was minimal & lacking in choice. The pigeon on the food table was repeatedly unnoticed by staff, who were unattentive. The lack of a bar in a hotel was a disappointment. The hotel is missing a huge opportunity to utilise the roof terrace, in what could be a prime attraction in an enviable location.
