Menu did not cater for vegetarians and was limited. Dining area was characterless. Lots of things ran out for breakfast. Bath was too high even for 6 footer. Macon Nord was a much better hotel.

Kettle provided but only one English tea bag and milk pod. One bottle of water only for a double room. I asked for more at reception but was directed to the bar where they offered to make me a drink at extra cost. No gluten free or vegetarian options on the restaurant menu so we had to go out to eat. Breakfast selection was limited, when we stayed previously in September the breakfast buffet as much more varied. Again no gluten free options - not even cornflakes!

Room was large clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for us and our large dog. There was a mini fridge, useful as we were carrying some of our food due to food allergys. Room is carpeted so our dog could move around with no fear of sliding. Staff on reception tried to help, but some language difficulty.

The bathroom situation was dated and awkward. the toilet is separate to the bathroom so very small and claustrophobic. the shower is over a bath - who needs a bath in a hotel?! But when you stand in the bath your head touches the roof of the bathroom - I’m 6ft tall. So the shower head was at shoulder height and didn’t go higher. The pressure of the water was amazing though and hot. Also the air con was blocked so we couldn’t make the room any cooler. only Warner. It was set on 22 - far too hot to sleep. Had to open the window to cool down - crazy for December.

Great location, we stopped for the night driving from southern Spain to the Netherlands. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious - a huge range served buffet style, you are given your own tongs at the start to avoid touching what is not yours. It was very quiet, a peaceful night.

We used this hotel to spend a night as we were travelling from Belgium to Spain. Overall it met our expectations to stay for 1 night. Room was clean and quite. Receptionist was quite friendly. Overall area of the hotel was well secured.

Restaurant is not up to scratch with a rubbish menu. Staff all talking in the back, no service. My son was struggling with sitting still and no interaction from staff. We've found other places much better. We felt a nuisance

The shower head support was broken. Other than that everything was fine.

We drove to Perpignan and stayed at this hotel because it was also close to Le Barcarés where we were planning to visit Le Village de Noel. We stayed in a room for 4 and it was spacious and clean. The mattresses were hard which we loved. Breakfast was good with plenty of both salad and sweet options. The hotel is a 3 min. drive from a mall where you can find some big box stores.

We arrived late due to bad weather that delayed our ferry. The hotel staff welcomed us and provided a welcome hot food and drinks.

There was a plastic protective sheet on the mattress under the sheet that made me sweat

The hotel was very new, unlike most of the other hotels listed for the area. The room was a good size, very clean and modern and I appreciated there was a refrigerator in the room. The bed was very comfortable but the plastic protective sheet on the mattress underneath the sheets made me sweat. Breakfast was great and the dinner was also very good. Would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The hotel was shabby and outdated. The reception was not very welcoming at all. Door in the room didn’t close well and the bathroom was old and worn out. In general, I find the differences between Novotels too big. There should be a general standard of comfort etc, so as a consumer you know what you are booking when you chose a Novotel.
