We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomFound the meals in the night could have had an extra to them like vegetables etc. the steak was €29 excellent quality but it needed some sort of vegetables. It wasn’t enough for my husband. I had the leak gratin. That could have done with fries or bread. Something to go with it. I felt the meals were too expensive.
Clean , really comfortable bed , secure car park. Grounds for the dog. Lovely staff. Nice decor in the restaurant.

Comfortable room, pleasant surroundings. Pool was good. Handy location not far off motorway coming from the south of France. It was a handy stopover. Breakfast was nice.

United KingdomThe room we stayed in the first time had a faulty shower (not draining water). So we were moved to another room, we had to move without help from staff and then had to make the pull out bed whilst there. We were offered no partial refund for the inconvenience, which is a shame.

Really liked the fresh water tab for bottles and glasses at free disposal. The kitchen lounge was very nice and so was the playroom with so many game options. However the playroom was messy and left could have been cleaned / tidied up more regularly.

United KingdomThe evening meal in the restaurant was not only expensive, but dire. The chicken burgers were over cooked and dry and the chips were shrivelled. The roasted veg comprised of two carrots and three small bell peppers with a small amount of tomato sauce dribbled over. Vegetarian options extremely limited and we asked for the natural pasta for the kids but asked for some tomato sauce, which they said they could not accommodate (despite dribbling a tomato sauce over the veg) so we had to try and share the tiniestl portion of sauce with two children. We have a booking on our return journey, but will ensure that we have alternative arrangements for our evening meal. I think this was a good venue, but overpriced in my opinion.
Facilities were OK but dated and in need of some TLC. Pool was great for our purposes. Breakfast was great, although we were a party of six and were tightly packed onto a small table as it was so busy, yet there were parties of just two that had been seated on much larger tables.

BelgiumIdeal for travelling with children and pets. If you you don’t, choose a different hotel. As far as I am concerned there are too many lenient parents who ignore that others may not be interested in their children’s whims.
Travelling from Brussels to the Périgord the hotel is conveniently placed next to the motorway. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious and clean.

United KingdomHad dinner in the Conservatory which was fine in itself (Food was average), but constant movements of people going backwards and forwards from the restaurant to the pool and vice versa.
Breakfast was always fine during past visits, but I did not partake this time, leaving early. Room was fine as was the pool.
