There are quite a few stairs to climb. However, this is noted in the property description.

It is a fantastic location at a reasonable price. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony view over a pretty square. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is open about the fact that it can be noisy so we knew in advance. They provided ear plugs which we used for one night out of the two, as there was a party happening next door. The second night was calm. We realised afterwards that we should have shut the outside shutters for more sound insulation but we didn't notice them until we left.

We found the hotel staff to be extremely welcoming, kind and enthusiastic. They helped with requests that we had such as extra milk for my cup of tea :-) The bedroom was as we expected - good quality considering the price paid. The shower was hot and I appreciated the kettle and tea making facilities. The breakfast had a good choice - the kids were happy. The hotel is situated perfectly for walking to restaurants in the evening. Parking is secure and worth the fee.

This is not a complaint as such as it doesn't actually relate to me as I have no problem with stairs, but I don't think that there is a lift and the reception is on the second floor which could cause problems with people with physical challenges - I could be wrong with this as there may be a provision made elsewhere in the building but would suggest checking with the hotel

The hotel is in a central location handy for the old city and eating/bar areas. I was upgraded to a room superior to the one I booked which was exceptionally quiet and spacious. I was made feel very welcome and would certainly go back

We were in a small attic room so knew room would be small, but bathroom was very tiny. Very little room between shower and handbasin - this was also the space in front of toilet- so very cramped.

Location - short 10 minute walk from train station, few minutes from main citycentre street. few minutes from Loire River. Old hotel well maintained with plenty of charm. Modern bathroom facilities. Appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea making facility.

House keeping in the room (water glass dirty). Parking on the street, all bar Sunday will cost you €30 per 3 hours from 0800 - 1830. This was not highlighted. Noisy at night.

A lovely, friendly hotel. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They even offered a map of Tours and marked all the places to eat and visit nearby. The room was extremely clean & the bed most comfortable. I could walk to the historic centre in 10 mins

There is a sign that says have patience with hot water. Maybe say which tap is hot/cold would be good.

Excellent location, good size room, clean and warm. Tea and coffee in the room. We love the pizza restaurant below the hotel and have always parked in front of the hotel.

The shower was terrible in so many ways: water pressure was not very good and it literally takes 3-5 minutes for the hot water to arrive. We felt bad running the water for so long and just letting it run down the drain. In top of that, all of the drains didn’t run property so we needed to manage water use to avoid overflowing. The other things that we didn’t like was the welcome we received. I write this in the spirit of giving constructive feedback but we were made to feel like we were a nuisance. We did ask a few questions at check in and we’re given very short responses like we’re taking up the lady’s time. We then mentioned a few hours later that the drains seemed blocked and the lady seemed annoyed that we’d mention such a thing. Having said all of that, when we checked out 2 days later, there was a different person at the reception desk and she was very friendly and helpful. We repeated our concerns about the drains, she wrote them down. Perhaps the other lady was just having a bad day but I’m mentioning it as we did try to avoid her after that first night and this is a very simple way to improve the experience of guests.

There were three of us staying in a studio room. The room was spacious and we didn’t feel on top of each other at all. The room had everything we needed for our 2 night stay and the mattress and pillows were really comfortable. The location was central to restaurants and parking was very easy, right at the front! We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed the view of Tours from the cute attic windows. We opted for breakfast on one of our mornings and it was satisfactory.

Non-existent bathroom door compromised privacy at times! A heads-up on the reception being on the second floor, with no lift, would have been appreciated so we could have made decisions on consolidation of luggage and/or giving this hotel a miss!

Very good central location. Very friendly and helpful reception. We appreciated the secure garage available to us (but weren’t informed that we would be sharing the space with a motorbike).
