Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe breakfast ended at 10am but everything really seemed to wrap up at 9:30. There wasn’t much left at the end of breakfast and it’s not included in the price of the room. I recommend getting breakfast elsewhere.

United KingdomWhen I arrived having already paid I was told there was no air conditioning and it was a very hot day/night, had I known I would not have booked and could not cancel. (it was only booked the day before so they must have known). They put a fan in the room which was hardly adequate and obviously noisy. The stairs to upper floors were blocked off meaning the only way to get up was via a tiny lift. There was scaffolding outside my bedroom window so I'm guessing I could have given some workmen a scare in the morning had I not left early! A small detail I know but the shower Gel was empty in the bathroom, normally wouldn't bother mentioning it but was a bit peed off by then.. it shows poor room management. The Hotel is being refurbished, it's in a great location and will be lovely when finished but if circumstances make things uncomfortable then at least offer a warning or discount or free breakfast or something, not just a bottle of water.
I liked the staff, they were friendly and helpful.

The staff appreciated the difficulties with the lift braking down and were extremely accommodating towards us....bravo

SwitzerlandOutdated and smelly, I had to keep the window open for fresh air. Worst of all, WIFI was extremely slow, less than 1MB per second, making it impossible to work from the hotel. Not recommended at all for people who are planning to work. I book for two nights, but left after one day after not being able to work due to extremely slow WIFI.

GermanyNot at all like advertised. Room was right next to public bathroom. Therefore very loud. You could hear many other guests throughout the night from the corridor and the adjacent rooms. Every time someone flushed a toilet, we could hear it loudly. The air conditioning was extremely loud and erratic and it was barely possible to sleep.
The location in the city was the only good thing. Also the night receptionist was friendly.
