Everything was lovely. Could have provided shampoo and soap. We normally would expect these but we had our own. We didn't think to ask but I'm sure we would have been given some had we not got any of our own.

We were greeted so warmly. Our host is so well suited to running this business. My apologies I can't remember her name but she was wonderful throughout our stay. The house is wonderfully stylish, spacious and comfortable. Both the interior and exterior are gorgeous. We also very much enjoyed our breakfast. We thoroughly enjoy our visit and have no hesitations in recommending the house and the host to anyone. She honestly deserves lots of praise for how she runs her business. Many thanks for a lovely time.

Nothing. Honestly.

The whole place is utterly charming. We stayed in the gîte and we loved it’s style and comfort. Pretty much everything you need for a few nights is there- washing up liquid, dishwasher and laundry tabs. Just touches that make it easy. WiFi was also good. The surrounding gardens are stunning and you are welcome to wander, lay in a hammock or play boules in a shady glade. Swinging from the rope chair or eating a beautiful, home-made breakfast supplied by Valerie on the terrace, it was all just so relaxing. The pool area is wonderful- a little piece of heaven.

Nothing to dislike. Not an issue for us but its quite a long way away from shops, bars etc.

Quiet location. Safe parking for the car. Very attentive owner/manager looked after us very well. Delightful pool area at the rear of the property.

this is a lovely little, find just outside of Saintes and on a golf course. The place is wonderful and highly recommend this. Our room was fantastic and you just walk straight outside and there is a lovely swimming pool. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and are a lovely couple. The dog Hamo made our stay as he is such a lovely dog and very friendly. We will stay here again on our trip next year.

That there wasn't availability for us to stay longer!!! We really did not want to leave :)

There aren't enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay here. Valerie was the perfect host, the perfect mix of being attentive but allowing us to feel like we were at home too. Her husband Philippe was the perfect gentleman too and helped us when we had difficulty with finding a taxi. Nothing was a problem. The house itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and with gorgeous landscaped gardens. Everyday we were served a very tasty French breakfast served effortlessly by the ever pleasant Valerie. This was a perfect location to discover the beautiful city of Saintes, with great recommendations for dinner from Valerie. The golf course just across the road was enjoyed one morning by my partner, while myself and my daughter relaxed in the really lovely pool area. We cannot thank Valerie and Phillipe enough for a really relaxing stay. We cannot wait to return.

Nothing really. A bit away from the town and restaurants, but worth the drive to have stayed in such a lovely home. Shared kitchen area was a surprise but absolutely not a problem.

A lovely property with a charming hostess. Great swimming pool in a beautiful setting. Good bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast served under the covered outdoor area, and an interesting and excellent selection of food. Would definitely recommend.
