The rooms/apartments varied a lot so you need to select the correct one. It was not obvious.

It was a great location, and the hosts were really good. They changed the room/apartment because the one we had was accessed by too many stairs. We were of an age where that was impractical. We needed a lift which the had for other apartments. That cost us more, but the replacement apartment was far superior.

The property said the room had A.C, which it did not, for a room this price it should really be there. Especially when booked in summer with that in mind.

Everything about this property exceeded our hopes. The apartment had absolutely everything anyone would need to cook, sleep, lounge, work, and sightsee. The rooms are very well-decorated and comfortable and the bed/bedding were great. Also, the location is really centrally located. The ladies in the office were more than helpful, with Mathilda being exceptionally helpful. This lodging is wonderful with breakfasts that are superb and well-priced. We'd love to return.

All was good.

There was excellent communication with the host before our arrival. The flat was well maintained, clean and comfortable with good quality bed linen. It was very central. Someone met us 'out of hours' to give us the keys and explain how things worked. We were also helped by Mathilde on departure when our taxi couldn't make it close to our meeting point.

Well, the property is conceived for short stays. This is not in itself a fault but it might be worth thinking if it could be slightly adapted to accommodate tourists for longer stays equally well. For instance: we had soap in the bathroom but no hair dryer or shampoo. I have long hair, so I needed to either purchase these, or go to the salon. The number of towels and bathroom carpets was limited, which also proved somewhat of a problem in the long run. Also, something resembling a broom, brush, mop or even minivac would've been useful to preserve cleanliness on a daily basis on our own. It would have been great if we had had a coat hanger at the entrance and a sofa in the salon. On the other hand, I understand that there were aesthetic considerations in play. The rooms we had were artsy, original, elegant - careful calibration between the beautiful and the functional was always a criterion, I strongly felt that.

Collecting keys relied on good communication, as we arrived on Sunday. We exchanged telephone numbers and we could also message via the platform of Booking.com. The manager of the flat was always a message away and she was always helpful with whatever questions or issues we had. The flat itself made our stay really outstanding - it is a duplex with parquet, chandelier and elegant bathroom. On the practical side, I really appreciated the built-in kitchenette with oven, kettle, and coffee maker! The neighbourhood is incredibly close to everything we wanted to see in the city, not more than 15 minutes' walk to a lot of interesting places. Selvy told us the best baker in town is round the corner. We didn't believe her until we tried! Finally, excellent general shopping is no more than 5 minutes away. A good Monoprix for the daily necessities and the luxurious and original boutiques just a stone throw away. As to dining... there are three restaurants on the same street, and the Relais's guide is infallible for superb food in town. Just call to make a reservation beforehand, these places are in demand on any evening of the week.

The apartment was fantastic, we loved the history of the building and how well maintained it was. We had everything we needed in the apartment and surrounding areas as it’s in a great location. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, and Edouard was great, made us feel really welcome and gave us some great options for things to do.

The staircase up to the double bed is actually a ladder. You have to come down backwards and very carefully. The front door lock is quite stiff to open.

Excellent location, quiet as it’s on 3rd floor of a pedestriani street, modern apartment, well equipped kitchenette, quite fun having a split level apartment with double bed upstairs in the eaves. The apartment is at the top of a wide ancient stone spiral staircase, so pack lightly! Light and airy with attractive views of the rooftops around. Easy walking distance from all tourist attractions in the old city of Toulouse. Great shops, Metro, bakeries, little supermarkets nearby.

Les Relais du Capitole was a great stay. The apartments are in an old historic building which has been remodeled. The apartment was very comfortable, as was the bed. The location was great. The staff were very cordial and friendly. I enjoyed Toulouse. I would definitely stay here again.

Uniquely situated inside an old tower. Great light and space with a very warm reception. Everything was perfect here for our stay in Toulouse. Great value for money too. Quiet neighbourhood.

My friend and I had such a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent. Walking distance from a cute square that has great spots to eat and shop. The popular sites are also within walking distance. The staff were so kind and so helpful!! They have great recommendations for what to do during your stay!!
