..Chamber made insisting we need to leave the room for her to clean. We had booked 4 days, had a late night and didn't want disturbed. Although the room was perfectly clean, the toilet/shower unit was not great,and the carpets in the hall areas need changing badly. It's cheap and does the job maybe a decent fan in each room would help getting a temperature to allow sleeping

The corridor outside the room stunk of cigarettes and there was a smell of old smoke still in the bedroom. A couple of the light fitting in the room were loose on the wall with wires visible. Pillows uncomfortable and we were only given one bath towel despite the booking being clearly for two people. Staff had gone home after we checked in so we were unable to get another. Bathroom needed updating as black mould present around the seals. I had booked breakfast which clearly stated it started at 06.30 online and in the bedroom on the back of the door. When we’re arrived for breakfast at 7.30 we were told it didn’t start until 8. I explained we could not wait as we had a train to catch and was told I could not have a refund but could take a drink and some pastries. We frequently travel up and down France and it’s safe to say we will never stop here again.

Good location off the autoroute and on an industrial estate with several restaurants within walking distance. Room clean.

The automatic booking system gave us a room with one bed too few in it. Since we arrived after 21h there was no staff on duty (checkin is automatic) and the phone number for urgent requests did not work so contacting someone was not easy. Once we were able to contact the staff however they were very friendly and were able to solve our problem within five minutes.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent (especially for the price).

It is an unfriendly location with foreigners, English is spoken through signs, the room was forgotten in the 1970s, no internet even if it says that it is offered... only apologies are offered.

Everything. As we arrived it looked like this hotel was housing illegal immigrants- there were dubious characters lingering outside. We ventured in - we were met by three staff, only one had any English speaking ability, we asked if this was a safe place to stay and if the parking was secure and received just a shrug in return. A young lady showed us to our room which simply compounded our resolve not to stay there. We were expecting a basic room but this room was extremely tired and unattractive. The bathroom is a moulded “Pod”, chipped and damaged. There was just one bath towel and one hand towel for two people, and the bathmat was a damaged rubber doormat that sat in the bedroom, outside the bathroom door. Not something that could be laundered and cleaned. You would not want to put your bare feet on it! The room was cold and unwelcoming. We tried the heater. Switched it on, nothing, turned the control to max. The actual control knob had long since broken off so we had to turn the metal spindle. We waited, nothing! The bed looked clean and might have been comfy but we weren’t hanging around to find out! Outside, under our window, was the designated smoking area which seemed in constant use. I had booked in a hurry when I had been feeling unwell. Big mistake. If I’d looked a little longer I may have found where we eventually went to stay. A beautiful studio in Compiegn, walking distance over everything and superb.

If you are a single person (I mean a guy) with just a need for a place to stay, the place is fine. Clean and with the basics. But it’s not what I would call a charming place that you’ll enjoy.

The price is cheap, so for a “sleep and go” stay is ok.
