An excellent stop for us on the ViaRhona Velo-route. Simple but adequate for our needs.

The toilet was just across the bed and the door was very thin wood, it felt like there was no door. The breakfast was a bit too basic for the price charged. We could hear every person who walked close by to our room or was next door to us

The room was perfect sized with a nice big window in the back, bed was comfortable. We had lunch there which was very delicious and genuine homemade food. The staff were very welcoming and friendly even though with limited English, we felt very welcomed and comfortable around them. There was ample parking and the location was perfect. The whole stay was very charming and very well priced!

Delay to checking in times, and perhaps due to Covid, no restaurant/ cafe or bar to pass the afternoon. Room was dark and the WC was squeezed into a narrow alcove. Cycle storage was in the courtyard, open to side winds, and only secured by own cycle cable to an aluminium cycle rack.

The hotel could have been a coaching house, with a main building and (cyclist) stables around the courtyard. Room was an okay size, but quite dark and even damp. Modern shower. Restaurant had good range of country food, plus a limited pizza menu for vegetarians.

Could be a seasonal thing in this part of France, the pictures posted on almost all travel and booking sites are mis-leading. After driving 650kms and reaching the hotel at the exact time I mentioned I would arrive, I thought that this place would be lively and welcoming as per how they advertise themselves, but in reality, felt very scared, unsafe and alone to be there in the dark while it was pouring cats and dogs, almost like a deserted haunted house. Knocked almost all doors to no avail, my mind couldn't accept me spending the night there. No matter what season it is in the future, will never go back. It may be an isolated incident due to lack of communication between their management and staff but it was an experience that un-necessarily cost me 70euros. Sorry, but this is the reality.

I did not even get a chance to enter the room because there was no one at the hotel. It was (as per my experience) closed and I called them multiple times to be forwarded to voicemail. I stayed there for around 40 minutes in the rain and when I finally decided to leave and find another hotel (which I did), I was called by the hotel's number and asked to come back.

unfortunately it was a National holiday so the restaurant was closed but the bar was open and the young lady in charge took orders from guests and drove to a nearby Take-Away to bring us pizzas. From the look of the facilities on site it would seem that on another night the service would have been much better.

handily placed, a couple of kilometres from the Via Rhona cycle path. Inexpensive - slightly rustic feel to the place - but clean and good for an overnight stop.

Bed gave me backache! Room very hot. Immense duvet is ridiculous in Summer - a single sheet would have sufficed. Difficult ti get cool in the night when opening the window lets in mozzies.

Parking; brilliant. Place is great for atmosphere. Quiet. Nice rooms. (our second visit here). The restaurant is superb. Good value, difficult to beat it anywhere.
