We booked three rooms for us and our family but they couldn’t come and I thought we could get a refund with three weeks notice. But, the staff said that because I had booked on a 3rd party site ( Booking.com), they couldn’t refund me as it was already paid for. Some confusion ensued. The site charged me a week before so I had actually not paid for the rooms when I first tried to cancel. We were visiting friends who also stayed at the hotel. I was hoping that they could invite extra people to use our rooms but they couldn’t find anyone. At check in, we were given three keys. We said we only needed one room. Then, we were left a note on our bed that our family had not checked in by their usual hours (19:00). The language barrier did not help!

Beautiful location right on the lake. Walking and biking paths nearby. Close to Annecy for evening dining or shopping. Comfortable bed and enough room for two carry on luggage. Also, plugs for charging were above the headboard which gave us more room for small things on the tables.

Nothing is bad but the building could be renovated to get a 5 stars feel (architecture and location are really great). We would come back if we were visiting again.

It's a bit tricky to arrive and Waze doesn't find the address easily, so be careful on that. And the breakfast close early

We just stay one night in the winter so you can't enjoy too much the lake but is a lovely place. We arrived late so the staff wasn't there anymore but accessing to out flat was easy and without any complications. Next day the staff was super friendly and helping us with some questions about walking around the olace

No warm breakfast. Wi-fi present but not working. In my room (212) toilet paper holder broken and hair-dryer missing. Due to the low season no services like bar or reception 24h, but this is understandable.

Recently renovated, 3 star level. Continental breakfast ok. Best part of the hotel is the position right on the lake and the view of most of the rooms. We were there in very low season and the area was extremely quiet.

The fire alarm went off in the morning, so everyone came down to breakfast almost at the same time. That was a bit tough for the one person that was in charge of the breakfast buffet, and coffee machines.

There is a beautiful view overlooking the Annecy lake. A fine old quirky hotel.

Gorgeous view of the lake from our room. It was very peaceful and we loved strolling from the hotel to town and around the lake. The beds were very comfortable.

Wonderful view on the lake, however noisy from outside terrace untill 23:00 and from the room above. Breakfast food is not great, but excellent coffee. The overall service could be improved with a little extra effort. The rooms are sold as if it is a high standard place, but it is a managed as a low cost venue.

Excellent location to enjoy the lake. Stayed in room 202 which has optimal lake views. There are boat, and kayak rental places nearby. There was only one main restaurant open nearby, probably because I went in off-season. If you travel by bus, you can take route 60 from the city. Its about 10 minutes walk, difficult if you have luggage.

We weren’t made to feel very welcome, because we arrived at 20h. I missed a message telling us to arrive by 19h. We had travelled a long way and if would have been great to receive a warm welcome instead of being told off.

It’s location is exceptional. The rooms are basic, but very clean and the bed was really comfortable.

The room was less than 8 square meters. A complete deception to Booking.com description. It was room 110. Later I was told all the rooms with even numbers face the lake. But in fact those on the first floor are covered by trees so there's no view. We paid a high price for a tiny room without a view. I really think the establishment needs to inform guests of this prior to booking. So charge less for these rooms. I was told the apts in the hotel are cheaper because they have no views. But in fact they still have some views. So make sure you clarify this information before booking.

It's a beautiful location. The room was clean. The bathroom was nice and airy compared to the small room.

Bad start at check-in at the reception where they wanted to charge much more for our room than we had booked through Booking.com. But after some diskussion we ended paying the right price. Breakfast very modest and not the price worth (18 €)… the bread was not fresh, no eggs and limited selection of cheese/meat. The worst was the lack of air conditioning in the room and the noise from the partying young people at neighboring building (the boat house) until 3:00 am. (that happened both nights of our stay). We should have known about the lack of a/c (as Booking.com informed about this) but we did not take notice - and one would expect a/c in this area of France. All in all is this hotel not good value for money - even though the location by the lake is great

The rooms were basic. Our tv didn’t work, no tea and coffee making facilities and no bedside tables with lamps Very noisy at night and over zealous policeman on bike appeared every time we tried load or unload elderly relative and told us to move on immediately!!
