Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomTwo double beds rather than one double and two singles..but this is a minor niggle. Maybe a little lively in better weather when reataurants are busy in streets below but this adds to ambience.
Good loaction and very clean. Huge choice of good restaurants ( French and international) in the same street and a short walk accross bridge to town centre. Kitchen well equiped and organised. Japenese themed decor a welcome change from bland interiors. Easy free parking behind the apartment. .

United KingdomBeing on the top floor of an old building the bedrooms and bathroom were inevitably a bit poky under the sloping rooves. And the ancient spiral staircase up three floors is quite challenging. Also it took us a while to identify the unassuming entrance door leading to a passage alongside a restaurant (particularly given the enigmatic name of the property). But once inside the apartment everything was fine. After some fireworks, the street noise died down eventually but there was sporadic metallic clanging somewhere in the vicinity at intervals through the night. Nevertheless we managed a decent night's sleep.
The location is stunning - on an island in the Saone river - with lovely walks and views. Better still, the restaurant life in the street outside was thrumming on a Saturday night, with extremely diverse cuisine to choose from. We had a superb Moroccan couscous. The apartment itself is extremely thoughtfully and tastefully designed in Japanese style and well equipped and comfortable.
