Old building with stained glass in room. Currently undergoing renovations so not looking at its best. Suspect that was why the price was affordable for us. Breakfast was good.

I know they can't help that they are renovating but it was awkward to walk past plywood in a narrow path to the small back elevator - not at all accessible with several stairs. Twin mattress in the room was sort of a "kids mattress". Larger bed ver comfortable. Shower was great but a scary big step down. I would have liked to try the breakfast but 15 euros each was just too expensive.

So tired and so great to just see the hotel from the gare!! Friendly service when first room was not what was requested and immediately replaced. Very clean. Well insulated windows looking over bus/gare. Quiet at night.

Under repair, unfinished, incl in room. Dated, overused lobby furniture. Bathtub bottom too thin, cracking sounds when standing. Bathroom lighting around mirror, poor. Feeling insecure re emergency exit identification in case of fire.

Extremely rude staff in the bar. At 22:25 he announced he needed to close the bar, although it should stay open till midnight according to the information available in the room. This was annoying by itself, as there was no other sitting area owing to renovation works (lift). As I did not jump up immediately, he just switched off the light!Totally unacceptable anywhere and all the more so in a 4-star hotel. When I told him off, he apologized but did not have any professional reflex, like keeping the bar open and offering me a free drink. Staff in dire need of training to behave in a service oriented and professional manner.

Central location. Next to train station, very quiet and comfortable room. Staff at the reception behaved professionally. Bicycle could be parked safely inside.

Maybe is old building so the wall is thin . I can hear the sound early morning (they check out about 7.00 am)from the next room.

location of the hotel is ideal , situated next to the rail station , the room was fine but the hotel in general is a grand building but in need of some tlc , a good selection at breakfast to satisfy everyone

Hotel was undergoing refurbishment, so some parts looking 'old'. We were not disturbed by any noise.

Central location, helpful staff. Close to tram service. Parking was straightforward once we found the car park!

We didn't like the decor despite it being in the 30 era .Our room was very drab and dark.

What a shame the hotel restaurant is not currently operating, it would make an excellent art deco dining room and terrace in that location.

Beautiful original art deco hotel in a great central location. Parking was easy in nearby underground car park and they offer a discounted price for hotel guests. The room was lovely and original, the bed was modern and clean, lovely modern, clean bathroom too. The continental breakfast was great, so many options including gluten-free. There was some work being undertaken in the hotel when we visited (at the moment the whole of France is getting ready for the Olympics!) with minimal disruption to our stay. Overall very nice stay, would recommend.

They are replacing the main elevator and the backup elevator stopped working the day before my arrival and stayed that way. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the bedding had not been properly assembled. I discovered on my last night that the two comforters in the duvet snapped together which hadn't been done. It made for a much nicer bed.

The location was great, the room was large, and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is across from the train station and the tram yet I never heard a thing. One can get bus/tram passes; the 2 day one cost only 6.20.

Bathroom lighting inadequate and LED Mirror around sink no longer functioning properly. Access to corridors & rooms a bit convoluted and corridor and general signage needs improvement.

Large spacious room, comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities in room, superb breakfast included.

The reception was under construction work, so not very welcoming.
