When travelling with pets, be aware its always a surcharge, no matter how small or free of hairing.

The hotel, though a bit old fashioned offered all the expected services and a very comfortable room with a view and balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful, English is not a problem here. The breakfast was delicious and had everything you needed. Try the self made honey!

Although the common areas are very beautifully decorated, the rooms need a refreshment ( refurbishing) The bathrooms are oldish and the showers ( with bathtubs ) very difficult and dangerous to access especially for older folks. The exaust system of the toilet and bathroom were not working.

- The hotel experienced technical issues with the Wi-Fi, so it was out of service, and there was insufficient compensation provided

The only area was the bathroom. The bath and shower need to be upgraded but this didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the room.

The art deco style of the hotel is beautiful and has been updated in keeping with the original style. The view from our room was spectacular with Mont Blanc directly ahead from a spacious balcony. The bedroom was very comfortable especially the bed. The hotel had a good range of facilities including a large outdoor swimming pool and indoor spa.

Very poor water shower pressure and inconsistent water temperature. Highly recommend fixing the issue as otherwise the hotel was very nice

The rooms and bathroom should be renovated, but for the price the hotel is charging, you cannot expect more, so overhall it is correct.

The hotel is an icon in divonne and the art deco style is very nice. Room size. Pool very is nice, and the breakfast in the garden is great.

It was exceptionally hot when stayed and the aircon was not really doing the job but that would be out of their control.

Lovely big room and bathroom. Balcony with a good view. Lots of areas where you could sit, relax and chat, have an ice cream or swim in the pool. Food was good for the events held. The village was lovely with lots of options for eating out

This stunning hotel is a super place for a weekend. The art deco lounge is beautiful. The food is excellent and hamam a great place to relax. The staff are polite and friendly. We especially enjoyed having a drink in the garden and breakfast outside.

The property is getting old and seems to require works and refreshments. What was a wonderful garden a few years ago requires now gardening work. Same with the building, the corridors, elevators and the rooms.

Room service was terrible, took forever to arrive , we didn’t get joining rooms ! Not even the same floor , which meant 1 member of a party of 4 was separated ! On arrival we had no help with luggage , checking in wasn’t good ! No explanation of hotel amenities! The pool needs to be updated and cleaned !

The staff was unfortunately incompetent and unfriendly. The problem started on arrival when the lady could not find our booking and acted as if it was our problem even though we presented the booking including the booking number and confirmation. On departure, we again had a very unfriendly person. We have hardly ever experienced such unfriendly hotel staff. The room was small and should be renovated urgently. The wallpaper and carpets must not have been changed for decades. Compared to the price, this is not acceptable. Breakfast was also very disappointing as it only has continental choices and even these are not vast and the food presented often runs out very quickly as too little is provided. The spa area is not well maintained. The door to the sauna did not close properly, so the required temperature could not be reached. The only reason we would come back is for the beautiful and relaxing surroundings.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the middle of the park. It really is a very relaxing environment, including that of the surrounding village. The public areas of the hotel are also very nice. The outdoor pool area was also excellent, as well as the ability to have breakfast and dinner in the open air.

A waiter who couldn't speak French properly!

The art deco interiors. The beautiful, huge old trees in the gardens. The air conditioning that functioned but was not to arctic freezing temperatures, as so many hotels are!
