Charming villa in the french countryside. The hosts were kind and helpful, and a lovely dog welcomed us. The room was finely and richly decorated. Nice breakfast.

This is a charming property with great hosts. The house is thoughtfully and interestingly furnished and extremely comfortable. The garden is delightful and we spent a lovely evening in it. We hadn’t booked dinner in advance but this was no problem and we had a delicious meal. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and hospitable.

The food was excellent with the focus on simple dishes prepared to restaurant standards. The owners were very warm and welcoming with a very personal touch. It is very difficult to describe the experience to reflect how amazing this short stay was. The grounds were wonderful, a mini stately home throughout.

The property is exquisite and very ancient. The hosts couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome and comfortable. This property was everything that I was hoping for when I read the reviews prior to booking. Claude made a comment on the day I arrived when he said, "can you hear that?" and when I asked "what" he said "the silence". This for me summed up the property perfectly, a quiet and peaceful place where no-one will disturb you.

I would have liked somewhere to hang up my clothes but it really wasn't a problem as the room was such a joyful collection of interesting items and there were chairs to put my clothes on. could have done with a stronger light to read by when I was in bed.

The delightful welcome I received. The care the owners took to understand me and to use English because my French is so appalling. And Madame saying I looked Chic when I appeared downstairs for supper. That comment has set me up for the whole year!! The quality of the interior decoration in the house which was so charming and the exceptional feeling of ambience within the establishment. My own room was filled with the most amazing collection of interesting items Aperitif and nibbles in drawing room prior to delicious and very reasonably priced dinner

Marie Alice and Claude are super hosts. The interior is very French with a lot of detail..nice antique furniture which fits this ancient Domaine. We had a very good dinner in the garden..everything fresh and made with an eye for detail. The beds are super.

Everything. It’s an old world property (early 18th century) pre-dating the Revolution, but it has been maintained very well. Exceptionally friendly owners, Maire & Claude. Wonderful dinner provided, including one vegetarian meal. Beautiful house and surroundings.

This is a beautiful home - the top suite of rooms was full of history and very comfortable. Absolutely do not miss out on the opportunity to have dinner - it is superb! And the homemade apple juice is perfection!

Charming house with delightful and friendly hosts. The interior is full of character, perfect for a romantic stay. Spacious bedroom with historic details from the 18th century. The option to dine at the house is excellent and very convenient considering the rural location. Excellent food and drinks.

It was all good. Pricing for dinner didn't include wine, which was quite expensive, so a couple of bottles between us all did add up... But it was delicious :)

Very quirky place with exceptionally welcoming hosts (and their puppy!) Stunning building and rooms are furnished in a very eclectic style - I don't think any 2 rooms are the same! Marie-Alice is a fantastic cook - lots of people say that in the reviews and so my expectations were high - but they were met! French cooking at its best - simple but so well executed and any dietary requirements are catered for. Lovely homemade apple juice included with breakfast. Claude is very gentle and can't believe he tends to the whole estate by himself. Property was about 15 minutes from the motorway and a lovely way to end our holiday in France, breaking up our journey to "Le Shuttle".
