Furniture and all staff at bathroom are extremely old. Jacuzzi was self starting when you are sitting in the room (outside bathroom) ;)))

Walk up 4 stories with no bellman to help carry luggage. We were soo hot and sweaty carrying heavy luggage and worrying about parking at the same time was very stressful!

This is a GREAT choice in beautiful historic building directly on ocean walkway with restaurants downstairs. Be aware during peak season parking is a nightmare but they allow you to park in front until you are able to find parking. We are VERY happy with our choice. Our room was small but there are larger rooms available! Be sure to upgrade your room or book lower floor for elderly because there is no elevator. This is the best choice in my opinion. Although breakfast ends early is was delicious!!

Rooms were a tad dusty and could use a little more TLC. It got pretty chilly during our stay but it wasn't clear to me if the gas heater in the room actually worked. The jacuzzi and shower combo is kinda awkward and funny, but once you figure it out it's not bad. I'm tall so it wasn't ideal, but for that specific room I'd bathe in a bucket - it's that perfect.

Christopher at the front desk was great. The property is , quite simply, the best located and placed for Etretat. Pay extra for the sea view, or even better the sea view with balcony - the room I stayed in. There is literally no sanity in staying here and booking anything else. I'd come back in a heartbeat. The attached restaurant and cafe is really good too.

Would not recommend for someone with mobility issues, as each room requires stairs (in our case three flights).

Staying at the Hotel Le Rayon Vert felt like travelling back in time (in a good way). The location -- right on the beach, a short walk from the cliffs -- could not be more central, but our town-facing room was quiet at night. We especially appreciated the friendly, accommodating staff and the attention to sustainability.

The room did not have air conditioning and it was warm during the night. You can open de window,, but there was a lot of noise during the night.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You have the chance to see the sunset from the window and that was amazing.

There is no elevator in the hotel but it is not an issue.

The hotel is right on the beach and the room was facing the beach. All in all a good and comfortable hotel and comfortable beds.

A bit hard to get parking although I knew this even before we arrived. Breakfast buffet although was pretty basic for 16eu.

There was nowhere to hang up our wet coats after being out in the rain. We didn't want to put them in the wardrobe!

Breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast. A good selection of food and drinks available and very attentive staff. Our room had a balcony with a sea view and the proximity to the sea allowed us to listen to the waves crashing on to the beach throughout the night. It was very pleasant.

What a gem to find. Right on the beach and close to everything. Little train gets you up to the chapel, aviation’s memorial and the gardens.

In case of rain, the window should not be opened as the rain World come in. Tiltable windows would have been better.

Very nice hotel with a wonderful French charme. Located directly at the water front with a view to the famous cliffs. Staff is really helpful and gentle. Really great stay. For having lunch or dinner, the restaurant of the hotel (not included) is not really recommendable.

I had a small, but beautiful room that looked out at the Channel, with a very comfortable bed and nice functional clean bathroom and great shower. The breakfast is lacking variety and is so, so. The receptionist staff is excellent and very welcoming. I had an enjoyable two nights and definitely would ask for my same room the next time.

The hotel was smaller than we expected, specially the room- but is was a lovely room, All the way on top. No elevator💪. Keep away from the restaurant in front, low quality food.

Fantastic view. Right on the beach. Good breakfast, even gluten-free bread. Hiking trip in the hills west of Étretat, starting at the end of the beach.
