Usually we don’t watch TV on holiday but we wanted to this time given the Olympics. We found the sofa beds in the living area really uncomfortable to sit on. It was of course really hot in August so it was best to leave the door shutters closed (and the fans on - kindly the owners had plenty of these) - so things felt a bit dark inside (not really an issue though given we were out all day)

We stayed at Le Coin de Marie for three nights as our base for Olympics events (at Le Golf National and Versailles). It was excellent for that (eg close to train station for easy connections). As well as the good location and sweet little garden area, the apartment was clean, well-equipped and had an excellent shower room. The hosts had left the table beautifully set and a bottle of wine for us which was a nice touch.

The flat is a bit of a walk from the centre of Rambouillet. Residential area. Nothing wrong with that - but not bang next to the castle or the main area of shops and restaurants.

Beautifully decorated. Table laid when we arrived. Bath robes! Lovely touches. Plenty of fans to cool the rooms. Comfortable beds. Sweet board with local tips. Very sweet.

The street outside is rather small but a little intense for us.

Very nice, cosy, perfectly equipped, and clean place. Not far from the train station and supermarket. Garden to enjoy, internet tv, very well-equipped kitchen, many necessities provided. We are quite picky but it is really difficult to find any flaws.

We did not have a phone so contacting the owner to get the code to the key box was challenging, but once we did make contact he was there within minutes and helped us get in, showed us around and was very responsive to any requests we had while there.

The property is very clean, well equipped kitchen and laundry, coffee service and close access to the bus line. We did not have a car, and once we figured out the bus line/service it made the entire town availalbe. We loved Rambouilette and hope to come back for future visits. It's proximity to Paris and Versailles is perfect and the people are very nice.

Everything Excellent.....There was nothing not to like

Beautiful fully equipped apartment with lovely garden. The apartment was in a great location a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Sebastian the owner was easy to contact and met us at the front door and helped us park. He had furnished the flat in a really tasteful fashion and had given attention to everything you could need... good quality coffee machine ,hair dryer, washing machine, lighting, furniture...wtc Rambouillet a lovely small town close to Paris ..... lots of shops and interesting bistros... Beautiful Chateau

Shame the shower leaked onto the floor! I think there was something missing to stop it overflowing.

When we made a reservation, it said that the owner would contact us a week in advance of our arrival with the check-in instructions. They didn't, so we eventually sent a text a day in advance. We were instructed to sent a text 30 mins. prior to arrival. We did, but got no response. The owner was not there when we arrived. So we again contacted the given number. After 5-10 minutes the owner showed up. After that, every went well. After a hot day of traveling the 5 of us would like to take a shower. This was possible, only for ±5 minutes each. If you took a longer shower, the water would run out of the shower into the bathroomfloor because the drain didn't function as it should. Some of us ended up not be able to shower at all. There was a letter right next to the door that says we have to take all the neighbours in consideration and not make any noise after 9PM. Shortly after we arrrived, the neighbours started to smoke hashes. So we took them in consideration, but not vice versa :-(

This apartment is very well placed to explore the town of Rambouillet and the surrounding area. The chateau and the town centre are within a 15 minute walk. There are lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants which makes this an ideal stopover. We could park right outside the door for free. The apartment itself was perfect for a couple, with a comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen and a cute, private outside seating area. There were thoughtful touches like a supply of tea and coffee and a jug of chilled, filtered water in the fridge. We would definitely come here again and highly recommend it.
