The owners and the wonderful food. The location is beautiful, rural yet close to the main road up to Calais. Our room was simply furnished, bed comfortable, super clean. Great views over the fields and valley. Bathroom large great shower. The food is exceptional

Wonderful rural location with panoramic view of surrounding countryside. Secure parking. Modern large well appointed room with air conditioning and comfortable bed. Fabulous dinner in the restaurant, make sure you book in advance. Good continental breakfast. Welcoming and helpful hosts.

Le Clos de la Prairie is an oasis of comfort and tranquility with spacious rooms overlooking pretty countryside views. It’s quiet and calm, perfect for relaxing after a day’s travelling. The food is excellent and breakfasts are generous and freshly prepared. ( No tired hotel buffets here! ) Sandrine is a lovely host and her husband Sebastian is a talented chef. We’ve stayed here several times and almost certainly will do so again.

Nothing. Perfect. We love it.

This an exceptional place to stay from the peace & quiet of the location, the facilities (so clean and well thought through) to the fantastic dinner cooked by Sebestien and the perfect hostessing from Sandrine. This is our second visit and it won't be the last. We had travelled through Switzerland, Italy, Corsica and France over the past 3.5 weeks, and this was our last stop. It was by far the best hotel of the 10 different hotels we stayed in!

the accommodation was more like a Motel rather than hotel walls were not sound proof and the terrace was not somewhere I would want to sit out on given neighbours could hear every word there was a screen we were tired and on arrival were surprised to find only one green tea bag and no milk! got a couple of tea bags and milk from reception in the evening we paid €149 for the night’s stay

it was a very quiet setting the restaurant food was very good at cost of €58 pp

Nice big sliding doors out to a small terrace, nut no wat to keep the bugs out. Terrace was also separaties grom the neighbours nu inkt a screen and Theo smoken a lot

Warm welcome from the hosts. In a small village deep in the country side, so lovely and quiet. Spacious room, clean and comfortable with good air conditioning and sliding doors to a patio with chairs and a fantastic view over the fields. We had an amazing dinner in their restaurant and it was nice that the chef took the trouble to come out to talk to the guests. Plenty of parking and obviously a good stopover point for cyclists too.

Really friendly welcome at this small, quiet and secluded hotel and restaurant with wonderful country views. Excellent large room with A/C, private patio and great facilities. Limited but superb menu and gourmet food and wine with wonderful service. Quite expensive food but it was really excellent. I so loved the white radish in one course that the owner/chef gave me some to take home - how thoughtful. I will return for the food! And it is well located for last night before short trip to Calais/ferry.

The only thing that could have been improved on was the size of the bath towels, we prefer larger towels.

We received a very warm welcome after a long drive and were shown to our room which was beautifully appointed. We then ate a delicious meal in the restaurant.
