Newly renovated Château were Kelly and Elian found a perfect compromise between keeping the old charme and bringing new style/technics in. Breakfast was served very lovely without any packaging. Wunderful garden and pool. Perfect place to relax and enjoy.

This property could be described as a luxury boutique hotel or the ultimate guest house, as the owners also live on the property. The facilities were fabulous and the owners were incredibly hospitable.

Air conditioning would be hugely difficult for the owners to fit without spoiling the interior, a fan was provided in the room however we found our room pretty hot at night.

Staying at Le Chateau Real was one of the highlights of our trip. The property is amazing, with beautiful facilities and decor. The breakfast was so good each morning.

The whole area was quite deserted, and the beaches were a long-ish drive away. Great for wine buffs as it is in the middle of the Medoc, but again, pre-booking is absolutely essential if you want to visit a vineyard. There was nothing much to do, and the neighbouring towns were not very pretty.

Breakfast was nice but not exceptional, and very little choice. The croissants weren't very fresh, but this is probably because there were so few shops in the area. It was very isolated and quiet. We couldn't book a meal on two of the three nights we stayed there because places were either shut or full, so it is essential to pre-book. The hosts were very nice and gave us a delicious cheese and charcuterie board on the nights we couldn't find food elsewhere. The room was absolutely beautiful with a huge bath, walk-in shower, and a comfortable king-sized bed. Tea and coffee making equipment, but no milk provided. Aesthetically pleasing pool area.

- The 17.00 checkin time.. After having been in the car for hours we arrived at 15.00 to be told to find a bar downtown and come back later.. Maybe there is a valid explanation (?) but a real let down if you want to lay at the pool. - Expensive (20 euro per day) additional breakfast bill for our 7 year old daughter. I do understand some extras here but this amount for orange juice, some bread, and a stale crossiant is way overpriced in my pov..

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like about our stay at Chateau Real! I suppose the one thing to note is that the hotel is not accessible by public transport, as it is located in a small village about an hour drive from Bordeaux airport. But we arrived in a rental car and it was easy to find! But there was really nothing we didn't like about Le Chateau Real!

This hotel was absolutely GORGEOUS – like honestly everything about it both inside and outside was stunning! It was in an old chateau that had been purchased and converted by a couple (who also run it) and you can tell that they put so much love, care, and thought into the renovation. The decorations were so cute and the hotel overall was warm and welcoming. It's quite a small hotel too, so it really feels like a personal experience. Kelly and Elian were so welcoming and made our stay super comfortable. They also offer cocktails, wines, beers, and a cheese and charcuterie board which they prepare themselves. We purchased the board and drinks and everything was so delicious! Our stay also included a breakfast of pastries, yogurt with granola, coffee, juice, and eggs. We stayed in the Family Suite and it was super spacious and the beds were super comfortable. It was too cold to use the pool but in the summer, that would be an extra plus! This hotel was truly amazing and an excellent value for money. A must for anyone visiting Bordeaux or the Médoc region

We had a fantastic stay with Kelly & Elian. Their château is newly renovated and has a beautiful backyard with a swimming pool and a relax area. It’s very peaceful and close to all the vineyards of St Estephe. We enjoyed a very good French breakfast and also tried their charcuterie board. Our room was big and had a very comfortable bed, we slept so well! We felt truly re-energised when we checked-out, our hosts were very helpful with suggestions and tips, and took such good care of us during our stay. We will come back!

The wellcome was warm, the room was double aspect looking over the pool. The pool was fresh and the whole area was lovely and clean with cool vibe music. The charcuterie was super. Everything is carefully thought through and done with real style.
