I'm struggling to find something I didn't like.

I loved the traditional style of the hotel both Exterior and interior. I loved the shuttered windows, and having a pretty balcony with a French window was a treat. It was very special to have the wonderful view of Mont Blanc and so close. The staff were very pleasant and I was made to feel at home. My room and en-suite was very clean and the shower was hot. Breakfast was excellent and there was lots to choose from. I would definitely stay there again.

Bit loud in the evenings, but obviously this comes along with the comfort to have the bar directly under and next to you. Some small renovation wouldn't be so bad for the rooms.

The hotel is walking distance from the parking space as well as from the city center. Easy to reach and has a lot of bars close by where you can chill and have a drink or two.

The facilities are dated. Could use an upgrade to beds/ bathroom, but was kept clean.

Location was great for short stay. Centrally located in Chamonix. Included breakfast was nice and enjoyed eating inside and outside during my stay.

The hotel is dated and could use some upgrades. I’m a female solo traveler and wasn’t sure about the safety of the place, particularly when the guy who checked me in followed me on Instagram, even though I didn’t give him any of my information, so he pulled it off my reservation. The bathroom window also didn’t have any blinds or curtains, so I had to hang up a towel or I would be in plain view of the people in the building across the street while on the shower.

The bathroom door was broken. No sound proofing.

The view from hotel was really nice. It was fine without the ac but we cant open the windows as we can smell the cigarette smoke from the bar at the ground floor.

Hotel is fairly dated. Room is tiny, shower cabins need some renovation. Due to absence of air conditioner and size of the room we had to keep the window open, and it was very noisy. Absence of elevator may be difficult for the people living in the higher floors.

Very good location, right in the city centre with all the shops and restaurants, easy access to all attractions, Aiguille du Midi cable car, train stations, Mer de glace. Stay in the hotel allows to get a card for free use of trains. Relatively cheaper price, than other hotels in the area. Clean bad linen, daily room cleaning. Breakfast is exactly what you can expect from 2 stars. Fine option if you just need to stay somewhere with affordable price and very basic facilities.

I hope that it's mentioned the room is in 4th floor as it's just mentioned in upper floor without lift which can be also 2nd, 3rd, or 5th floor how would I know that it's 4th? I thought maybe was 2nd and since my parents are 65+ so it was hard for them this 4th floor especially on heart and knees.

The price included breakfast but I wished it was on lower floor for my parents. The tourist office is just opposite to it so it's easy to go there and gather information for those who don't plan itinerary in advance.

Very loud location but in all fairness , was at city center , since no AC , had to keep windows open and town need not quiet down until 2 am , in the summer , recommend finding a place with AC

The doors of the rooms were loud and the soundproofing was poor. the noise from the neighboring rooms and outside was clearly heard inside.

Staff didn’t seem very concerned when we arrived. Gave us key for downstairs luggage storage room without providing any details or assistance. Quite dark and not exactly clear where it was once we got down there. Worked out ok though. Some of the decor (carpets/wallpaper) pretty old and not exactly clean.

Great location, simple yet spacious room overlooking the square with a balcony.
