Breakfast was not included in the price when booking the hotel via booking.com. There was no facility to have breakfast included at the time of booking which means if you want breakfast it is another 14 euros per person on top of the room charge. This made the price of the overall stay quite expensive

The rooms are set out in chalet style buildings which are spread out over a large expanse of grounds. The hotel is well maintained with well kept gardens and plenty of free parking. Reception were very helpful on arrival and offered us evening dinner in the hotel but we decided to walk into St Valery to eat which is easily accessed via a coastal path. It takes around 25 mins to get to St Valery but a very pleasant walk along the Baie. The bedroom was comfortable but not luxurious. Breakfast was exceptionally good with freshly squeezed orange juice available and lots of local produce from breads cheeses yogurts and jams.

The rooms were a little basic and functional.

The views were spectcular. The grounds and lay out of the hotel beautiful. The reception staff were excellent and super helpful.

Shower water was cold. We tried to push it to the hottest it could go but still felt lukewarm.

Location and facilities were great. Staff was very kind and booked a table for us in the village. Bed was comfortable and the family room met our expectations.

Difficult to get a table in the restaurant of the hotel. Tried multiple times, even two days in advance it was not possible to get a table for two.

The place is wonderful and so is the view. It is very calm. 20min walk to the next restaurant. Many sites to see in the vacinity.

Most of the staff did not speak English and at times came across as a little curt. I think that may have been the language barrier. You have to book dinner in advance of your stay or risk not having space. The local town is really nice alternative.

This hotel offers a lot for 3 stars. It is in a beautiful rural location and you can walk to the beach in minutes. We watched a lovely sunset after enjoying an excellent dinner. There is a good sized out door swimming pool, table tennis, petanque, tennis courts all in lovely grounds. Rooms were small but clean and tidy. very good value for money

On the weekend we stayed there, we ate in the restaurant and found the service slow. When we returned the next night, we were informed the restaurant was closed fro a wedding function. No big deal until you walked 2 miles into the town and back only to have to walk back to town to eat and then back. Very poor communication and planning for paying guests.

The hotel were aware of my husband's mobility issues so a walk in shower would have helped rather than his having to struggle to get into the bath.

Room was small but comfortable and very quiet. Clean. Gardens are sadly looking quite neglected which is a shame as they have obviously been quite a feature in the past. Bar area outside is scruffy too and as the hotel is obviously geared up to a lot of corporate days and functions there were a lot of very noisy guests so we didn’t feel inclined to use the bar or restaurant.

We liked our room, and the friendly staff who cleaned it very well, we especially liked the location, that is why we returned this year. We loved the pool, it was very well laid out, very clean , well attended, we saw two men checking and testing it. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was amazing, with so much choice. We took advantage of the bicycle hire, the bikes were in very good condition, it added another dimension to holiday., will return next year for longer, thank-you for a special short break stay Le Cap Hornu.

We had a basic budget bedroom, and we would have preferred one with a patio.

We loved the location, and the wild (but kind of tame) boar that lives onsite. Also, the staff were super friendly.
