Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe stairs! I was with my 93 year old mother and our room was down 2 flights of steep stairs. This was fine for me but she found it difficult. It would be helpful if there could be some warning of this as we could maybe then have asked for a room on the ground level floor, or just one flight down.
Spectacular location. Very helpful and pleasant host.

LithuaniaVery nice place, beautiful views of the mountains. Easy and quick access to various places in Provence. Outdoor furniture and a quiet environment separated from the town. Well equipped house, huge shared kitchen, fridge and all other facilities. Great hearty breakfast in the garden. The rooms are spacious, we had a large cool corridor, a large bathroom. The host is very friendly. highly recommend, especially for a few days or a week.

AustriaThe big bed was not comfortable for two people because of the rather old and thin mattress.

It was one of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed, we found it on the last minute and it was such a blessing . The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France , the building is standing on the cliff with amazing view to the mountain from our room where so there is wallet nest on the roof so you can see they fly through your window , it was amazingly beautiful experience. We really love the house which is a beautiful old family house with grandma touch :) where you really feel home. All the facilities are working well , clean and neat. Supermarket, laundry , bar , resto etc. are so close from the hotel all walkable. We love the vibe of the village it's so warm, positive and welcoming. Fred who manages everything in the house is so golden, super kind and nice, provided us with so many destination tips around the area and made sure that our stay so enjoyable . We stayed with our big dog that time and the place is super dog friendly. By the way we decided to extend our stay on the day we arrived just because we were in love at the first sight , so no more thinking if you're lucky to get this place available , BOOK NOW :))

United KingdomThe accommodation is in an excellent location, to the north you can visit various parts of Baronnies and to the south the Luberon area, both with it's picturesque scenery and beauty. Our room had an amazing view over the valley, and surrounding mountain. Near by plenty of lavender field to see. Fred our host, was very friendly and always ready to guide you to the most beautiful spots of the area. I can't recommend enough this beauty spot, we would definitely return here.

AustraliaA little tricky drive up the hill, but I drove a large van. For standard sedan should be no problem.
Old house with character. Parking, walking distance to town to go to a restaurant. great view on town an surrounding countryside. Very good and generous breakfast, good coffee home made jams and local lavender honey and of course those French baguettes.
