We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We took the family room, no. 20, it was quite spacious and comfy. The room was fresh, clean beautifuly decorated and welcoming. We were very happy!

We used this hotel in Luc-sur-mer as a base from which to explore Normandy & the D-Day landing beaches. I would recommend this hotel for that as it's in a good location .... right on the beachfront The hotel looks to have been recently decorated. The bedroom was not massive but adequate with a comfy bed. It has a TV but only French channels. The bathroom was modern with a large shower & plenty of space. It was great weather and we had the window open all the time. It was peaceful to fall asleep to the the sound of the sea The owners & staff were very friendly & helpful with an easy-going attitude There is a restaurant with a reasonable menu (cannot comment on the food as we did not eat lunch or dinner there). But we DID have a traditional French breakfast each morning with cereal & yoghurts and fresh bread & croissants along with meat & cheese & eggs (no hot items are on offer) served with freshly squeezed juice and coffee/tea/water. This was plenty for us each day before going sightseeing It looks like an attached bar is undergoing some renovations so the hotel will be better when this is completed
